I had my consult today. I scheduled everything but the surgery. Due to my insurance not requiring a 6 month supervised diet she said I could have surgery as early as November if everything goes ok. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I sooooo understand!!! I have a work guy too that I am sooo attracted to I think he's attracted to me too and probably will be even more as I lose weight after the surgery. He knows about the surgery and supports me 10000000000%. He'll text me throughout the day and ask how I'm doing. He's literally always there. My husband is supportive but he never asks how it's going or how I'm doing or how I'm feeling. When I begin to talk about it he just looks so bored. He's only interested in sports right now. It's frustrating. I can barely get him to talk to me for 10 minutes and he and my mom can talk about baseball for an hour. I tried to get into sports. I'm into basketball and football but I just can't do baseball. It's frustrating. He knows about work guy and him supporting me and says he's ok with it since he's not "that available" whatever that means but he doesn't know about the attraction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Husband, My Rock, My Support

My husband.... tries. He's moved into more of the care giver role since my spinal injury but I still do most things. He's mostly afraid I'm not going to cook him any food for 6 months lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I changed to Lipton diet green tea. It's sweet and has no sugar, no calories and no carbonation. I think it has a little bit of caffeine too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Friday I did a Protein shake, then a stick of string cheese, then another Protein Shake, then mandarin oranges, then I made bolognese sauce with ground turkey and made my husband some Pasta to eat with it. I just ate the sauce. Then I had Greek yogurt before bed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah its regular food. It's 4 ounces of food every 3 hours. Things like a Protein bar or shake, cottage cheese and fruit, lean meat, vegetables, cheese, scrambled eggs, etc. I can scan you in a copy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Calories and being discouraged
tssiemer replied to Cervidae's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I actually said out loud today "why does food have so many calories?" When I went to my consult the PA put me on a diet where I eat every 3 hours no more than 4 ounces at a time and under 1500 calories. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
