Wanted to share my most recent pics. My surgeons office wanted to do an article and a new flyer for their new patient info and they asked me to do a photo shoot and tell my story! So I got some great pix!

I live in inner loop Houston and am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Yu 9/1. I am more nervous about making it through the pre-op diet without lashing out at my kids/husband/coworkers than I am about the surgery itself. I had not realized gas pain would be so severe. Glad to have a heads up.

Very cool. My pre-op is all liquids. I can have Protein Shakes and broth. I also hate artificial sweeteners, which has made it hard to find a Protein Shake. I have a feeling 10 days from now I will never want to see another Protein shake in my life. But I am excited about having the surgery done.

I am having the sleeve done 9/1. On day 2 of pre-op diet. Hanging in there so far and trying to take it one day at a time.
