Thanks for adding me! And for the offer of support. I sure do need it and am more than happy to support you on your journey any way I can. I think we are making such a big life change we all need all the support we can get.

That would be great. And test that's true we do need all the support we can get .. It's a mental challenge as well.

Hiya! I'm ten days away from my surgery and on a liquid diet. This forum has helped me too. I have two sisters who are petite little things. I've struggled with my weight since childhood. With every diet I lost and then gained even more. I have NO idea why anyone would think having surgery is the easy way out. I'm terrified. This is my last choice after trying everything else. I haven't figured out how to friend on here but would love to make friends!

n I also have 2 petite sisters they are supportive well after strongly suggesting I just get a Tummy Tuck lol ... But I to have had been on the roller coaster aka weight struggle since I was 12 .. I'm all nerves right now mixed with excitement I just can't wait to wake up after and start my journey.. I get my surgery on Wednesday the 12th..

I'm scheduled for Aug. 12th. I have a call out to the person who schedules the surgery to see if there are any open slots for July. I am revising from the band to sleeve and I am so ready.

I am on the 12th how are you feeling am I the only one that's a bunch of nerves lol. Where are you receiving yours

Yea my doctor told me about that but made a joke that since he's bald he doesn't really worry about that .. But we can't take any supplements regarding hair and nails because it has to much Vitamin A

Yay!! Should be soon I got my date the day I met my nutritionist that was Thursday .. Goes by fast ..

I don't have shakes in my diet at all I have a meal that consist of Protein I.e meat cheese eggs etc. starch fruits veggies and one tsp of fat my surgery is on 8/12

Yea it's weird I need the support but ended up being more scared. I will keep you updated keep me updated as well. Where did you have your surgery?

I'm getting sleeved next week I also have developed some concern about this .. It's taking everything out of me to call the surgery off I'm that afraid but I also realize everyone is different and out body types are different so complications vary.

I was also told it would be a life time tool. I'm a little confused I will ask my doctor about the sleeve losing its effectiveness after a certain period of time.

I also have my share of anxiety when it comes to getting sleeved. I get my sleeve next week and I'm getting nervous as I do my research and i see people having complications I just try to keep in mind that everyone is different. I was also curious on Hair loss that some people have complained about.
