Slap me silly. I thought I'd hit a plateau, but no-o-o, I simply slowed by loss by several days of bad eating. Isn't it funny that smart eating works? Maybe I needed the goof because I feel reenergized to do this right.

Hey all! Enjoying this misty, chilly Autumn day? I sure am! I just wanted to share the recipe for this super yummy, fast, easy, and healthy eggdrop soup I've been making a lot lately, as it seems like the perfect meal for us on a day like this. It's very simple! Put two cups of water on to boil, and while that's heating up, add some bouillon (I use 1 tbs of Better Than Bouillon beef or chicken. Both are delicious! Today was beef.), a dash of lemon juice, and whatever spices you love. My soup today has cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, and a little dash of curry. While the water continues to heat up, beat two eggs really well with a little bit of milk in a separate bowl. You'll want to get the eggs as uniform in consistency as possible. By this time, your water will be boiling. Turn off the heat, but leave the pot on the burner, and slowly pour your eggs/milk mixture into the boiling broth. And now you're done! Pour into a bowl, curl up with a cozy blanket, and enjoy. This soup only takes about 7 minutes to make, tastes delicious, and contains 12 grams of protein. I normally eat half of it and save the other half for later. Pretty wonderful!

I know I shouldn't compare myself to others but this one is kinda funny! Sooooo one of my short term goals is to finally get to ONDERLAND and lets just say I'm picturing 194.2 like the second coming of Christ! 2 of my very pregnant co-workers were talking to each other and comparing bellys and current weight. One of them said-- "I'm up to around 194!" She's due in 18 days! Well it kind of put a damper on my goals of hitting onederland but it also put a new perspective on my journey and that is... I still got a ways to go but I am happy with my progress so far-- Happy Monday!

also keep in mind that carrying around a significant amount of extra weight for years not only grows your muscles, which are heavier than fat, but also make your bones denser and thus heavier. I'm the same weight and height as my friend who recently gained some weight and we look utterly different. I'm actually considerable smaller than her, probably due to my muscle mass and bone density. So your 194 will probably be way different than others' 194.

Sinful Sunday! What's your guilty pleasure?

Fun day Friday! Tell me what you love most about yourself.
-
What I love most about myself is my capacity to love others and take care of others. Few things give me more satisfaction than knowing I have helped someone even a little. The suffering of humanity weighs heavily on me every day, and I want to alleviate that any way I can. That, and I have mad art skillz.

I am really going to make myself sick sooner or later if I can't find a way to get my calories and water in while I'm stressed and extremely busy. :/
-
My main problem is that I'm at school for 40 hours a week (and that's only a 4 day span...) so friday-sunday, I'm trying to recover and I'm so repulsed by eating right now because of the heat/stress/etc that playing catch-up is really hard. I've been carrying food with me, and a 40 oz. water bottle with ice water in it, but I honestly feel physically sick at the thought of eating food when I'm in this kind of situation.

This is one of the biggest undertakings any person can possibly experience, and it's also a period of huge, rapid change and hormone surges and difficult emotional situations... it can be tough sometimes to remain tough-skinned and objective when bluntness is directed at you, however well-meaning. I do hope some of the vets will remember that sometimes, and remember how sensitive they may have been in the beginning. Still, they mean well and are a huge wealth of information if you're willing and able to take everything with a grain of salt. Hang in there! I'm a year out in less than two days, and I can say for certain that it does get easier, and it does get better! Stay safe!

How is it that a newbie can post in a veteran's forum, but I can't?

The caramel premier protein shake is my new favorite flavor!

I feel like Quest is trying to make their bars taste bad, you can't ruin a product this much without making a serious effort. I decided to give them another chance and try a new flavor. Every time I have a bar it is worse than the last time. NEVER AGAIN.

My anxiety is completely out of control. I feel like I'm going nuts. I'm so stressed that I've had two panic attacks today, and when I try to eat or drink something I get intense nausea, and I know it's not physical. I guess this is just one of those days when I can't deal with life.
-
@WLSResources/ClothingExch I tried a lot of things, but the only thing that really helped me was, as @OutsideMatchInside suggested, some good weed and a ctr+alt+delete sleep. It was another bad day today, but a little less than yesterday. Anxiety disorders really, really suck.
