Erica Kaufman got a reaction from MNSkolGal in Question for the Ladies.
Did anyone have the period during surgery? I just got mine the day before surgery which means it will be full blown day-of. Will that be a problem?

Erica Kaufman got a reaction from Imready2015 in December sleevers
So glad I found this post. Mine is 12/21 so I'm only on day 3 of the pre-op diet. All the sweet shakes are rough. I craved salt today.
Definitely nervous, like you, about being able to handle it all after the fact but am motivated by the incredible change for the future that lies ahead. (wow that sounded super cheesy).
I am down to keep in touch if you are!

Erica Kaufman reacted to Babbs in Recovery with Children - Lifting Heavy Objects
Is there another member of the family that can help you out with them? Do the heavy lifting for you?
Also, you may not be able to lift them, but I'm sure they can climb into your lap for a snuggle? Or have someone put them into your lap so you can hold them. Just because you can't tote them around doesn't mean you can't sit with them, lay in bed with them, play on the floor with them, etc....
If anything, it will help them become a little more independent. That's a good thing for babies on the verge of toddlerhood. I assure you that you will not cause any damage by not being able to pick them up for 6 weeks, lol.
Ah, mothers guilt. What would we all do without it.
