You must be so proud! keep up the good work. Measure yourself weekly, the weight may not move as fast but those inches will motivate you more.

For this week, still 200. Still trying to hit Onederland. Will hit the Protein Drinks and Water all this week. Still it's only been one month since I was sleeve. I was going to sew on a project and had to measure myself and I've lost about 5 inches on my bust, waist and hips. so yeah it's all good.

If you did not get sick from it, it's not going to hurt you. The list is a guide, and you are going to notice every doctor is different. Just take note, if the eggs went well, that's a good sign that you are going to be able to eat eggs without an issue. For the mean time keep up with your Nut and Doctors orders.
    Best of luck to you.

Hi - I'm Denise. I am 50 and had my sleeve done on Jan 16th self pay in the UK.
My heaviest weight was 330 and I lost weight and was 183 lowest in 2013. I maintained around 215 for some time and then ballooned to 307 since May 2015 to Dec 2015. I was putting on 2 pounds a week !
Big meals and red wine are my down falls.
Pre op I lost and was 291 on the day of surgery. I am now 276 and lost 31pounds since Jan 1st.
Loving my sleeve - still in the purée stage
    Hello everyone

Hello! My name is Liz I'm 27 years old, I have a degree in Marketing and Management. I work as an analyst for an Agricultural company. I'm single (it's essentially a perpetual state). I help to take care of my 10 year old nephew because his parents are incapable. I like to travel when I can but my weight is something that keeps me from fully enjoying it and keeps me from doing it more often. I've been to Chicago, New York, D.C., Philly, St Augustine (FL), Chattanooga (TN), New Orleans, Biloxi, Germany, London and Paris. Paris was my favorite, I went several years ago for New Years. I can be kind of nerdy (I think it comes with the territory of being fat my entire life and growing up with an older nerdy brother) - I like some video games, typically Mario Brothers (pretty competitive at Mario Kart ). I can be a bit of a netflix addict at times. I have a 70 lb dog that is ridiculous - and I love him. I did a first time home buyers program that required me to work on my own home providing "sweat equity" - I spent my weekends painting and caulking and cleaning my home during the construction process. I enjoy surprising people who think I can't or won't work hard. I put in 8 - 10 hours days on my home and was one of the only people who they were confident would pass come inspection time. I'm at a comfortable place in my life, well everything but my weight. At 27 my knees are mad at me, I lose my breathe way too easily. I want to be able to be active and I can't wait to have a tool to help me get there

Hello I am 1 month and almost a week post op. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. After an embarrassing airplane ride I made the decision that I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I decided to have gastric sleeve surgery on the 14th of December 2015. Yeah I know a week before Christmas. It has not been easy not that I want to eat, but finding foods that my new stomach will like has been a challenge. At my heaviest I was 360. Pre surgery diet I was 334 Day of surgery I was 321 and at a month I am 294. I am 5'6 I think if people really knew the struggle of having weight loss surgery, it would not get the negative easy way out stigma it gets. I'm finally past the regret stage. Everyone's journey is different so for me it was really hard to get anything to stay down. I'm much better now still have a hard time finding a Protein Shake that I like. Overall I'm happier with my choice.

Hi I'm Christina.. I have 3 beautiful daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I work for the town I live in as their budget officer. I have lived in this town for 27 years, I was married into it but now have been divorced for the past 3 years. I now have a very supportive and hard working boyfriend. We have been rehabbing an old farmhouse for the last 2 years, we just starting living there this past October full time. Love my life except the weight. I have been looking into WLS for the past 2 years, when my insurance changed recently it was now or never. I was sleeved 11/30 so far have lost 35 # . It's had its challenges but for the most part it's been exciting for me. I'm so glad I found this site and to know I have support when ever I need it !

First she must know that you do have to workout and eat healthy, the surgery is only a tool so that you don't eat as much. You could tell her she doesn't have to lie. She can say that medical history is private and they can ask you if they want information. Which is true, our medical history is no one's business. Get ready, People are going to be rude, jealous and out right ignorant. I have not told anyone in of my family, only my mother (who had a stoke and can't talk) and my boyfriend, because he had to take me to my surgery. I asked him not to say anything and he works in the medical field and is very aware how private medical history is. I have an adult daughter and I have not told her. I plan to, but not till I reached my goal. I have enough on my plate and don't feel like dealing with people who have issues of their own.

I too had my sleeve on 1/5/16. I was home on Thursday. On Protein diet and liquids diet for one week then on soft foods the next week. Everything went well. I was nauseous and in pain for one day. The Meds helped a lot. By Thursday I felt much better. Today my fifth day I was out at Aldi's getting organic stuff to make my protein smoothies. I can drink about 64 oz of Water in 12 hours and two Protein Drinks in 10 hours. I try to have broth with my Vitamins so it won't upset my stomach. I have not weighted myself yet. Will do so on Sunday. But I know I've lost weight. The Victoria's Secret Pjs I got for Christmas wouldn't fit and now the pants is lose and feels comfy. Scars are healing well. I am not hungry but it could be the protein drinks. My Breakfast one almond milk and is filling with Protein Powder. A little Greek yogurt to change up a little.

Had my surgery on Jan 5th. First four days were the hardest. Had pain and gas. I try to get 75 to 90 g of Protein by drinking Protein Drinks. Water is easier now always seem to be thirsty, I was 217 before surgery now I am 205. I don't want to loose too quickly to avoid the skin sagging issue. I am happy with the lost. I eat Greek yogurt, broth and mashed Beans not all in one day, but pretty much what I eat for the week. Not really hungry. Only can get 500 to 600 calories a day. I was size 16 now in 14. Feeling really good. Multi Vitamins, Iron, Biotin, d ,c and Calcium as well as B12.
