Consider yourself lucky! Lol. I am on two weeks of Bariatric Advantage. It is not horrible. I think each program is so different. Did the dr give the reason for changing the diet? My surgeon does it for liver shrinkage.

Wow - excited but feeling a tad bit overwhelmed with everything I need to do at home and work for my date LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY! My pre-op testing is Mon 10/12.

I just got my phone call for my first appointment with my surgeon! I'm so stoked I already completed the seminar online! And have been doing the physical therapy , NUT, and counseling since August! It's coming so real ????

My 2 c-sections were full cut. The RNY was faster healing. The only pain for the RNY was the gas pain. You just have to walk and deal with it. The good thing is this surgery is about YOU, not about a baby. You get a lot of attention, people want to know how YOU are feeling.

My bariatric center of excellence automatically removes the gallbladder when performing WLS. Had I had one they would have taken it out.
I lost mine about 23 years ago when I went on a diet and lost 60lbs. Rapid weight loss can have a impact on your gallbladder and you see many folks having to have it removed after WLS. Therefore they simply take it out at the same time.
