  1. Just checking in. How's everyone doing?
  2. I was told I can have quinoa during the regular food stage. Every Dr is different but the regular stage for me started at week 5. He suggested quinoa because it's a good source of protein.
  3. @@Quany - How are you feeling? What's your progress been like? I've been doing really well. I'm down 30 pounds. I've been in a stall for the last 2 weeks but my Doctor just cleared me to work out at gym. I am able to get on all my fluids and I'm prettying doing trial and error when it comes to food. The only thing I have a problem with it the no drinking while eating rule.

    Tiny tummy, the dictator

    Lol this is hilarious!
  5. I don't think that is necessarily true. About 25% of patients get gall stones and may have to get their gall bladder removed. Pretty much you could wait it out, as it may not affect you at all. This was one of my biggest concerns. My Dr. told me to watch what I eat after surgery because fatty, oily foods causes gall stones. I'm 5 weeks out so far so good.

    Headed To The Gym

I didn't do abs because I'm only 5 weeks out. I go to the Dr. Friday and I'll find out when it's okay to start working on the abs

    Headed To The Gym

It turned out better than expected! I didn't get tired and it felt good to sweat.
  8. I was sleeved in July 29th, 2015. My paperwork post op surgery says its okay to work out in the Gym after 1 month. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I plan on taking it slow .
  9. I was sleeved on 7/29. SW 274 weight before surgery 268 CW 243. So I'm about 25lb down, 15 pounds was lost the 1st week after surgery. I've been stalling this last week but judging from the others post, it's completely normal. I'm not worried at all because after this month I should be cleared to work out in the gym. Good luck everyone!
  10. Let me know how it goes! Good luck with everything

Congrats you look awesome! I had surgery July 29th and I can't wait to get of the 200's club. sw 274 day of surgery 266, as of yesterday 243
  12. Try a little pickle juice but be careful because it does have a lot of sodium. There is a current post that was talking about the effects of pickles an nausea yesterday. A lot of people seems to think that it helps (including me)

    And another question

I'm 3 weeks post op and my stomach loves pickle juice. It helps me with nausea.
