    And so it begins....

My surgery is Jan 6th too! Bypass here....
  9. I haven't been one to post, but I have really enjoyed reading all of the success stories on here. Yesterday, I met with my surgeon and got my surgery date. January 6th! What a way to start the new year. I am excited but the nervousness has really begun to hit. I was hoping that he would recommend either the sleeve or bypass, but he didn't seem to be pushing either way. So, in order to get the greatest results, I chose bypass. I am excited for the future and what it may hold, but I am sure my emotions will be all over the place this month. Anyone else in a similar position? I would love to connect!!!!! ☺

    Got my surgery date!

I completely understand what you are saying! My surgery is Jan 6th and my mind is racing! I am nervous about the procedure, but about everything in the months after. The idea of me at 150 lbs lighter is what I keep dreaming of!

    Just got my surgery date!

Thank you so much for all your advice. I wish that I could fast forward about three months and be past the surgery and recovery! I hate the nerves! How much time off of work did you take?

Hello! I am a beginner in all of this. I have been considering surgery for a couple of years, but have finally set up my initial appointments through Highland Hospital in Rochester with Dr. O'Malley. Anyone else?
