    Make sure you keep things very low or no fat. That's the only thing that has bothered me. Did you try unsweetened applesauce? How about egg beaters instead of eggs? The Dietitian told me some can't handle the fat in the yolks. Mashed potatoes? Sugar free Popsicles? I'm 22 days post op. Hope that helps!

  3. I am 22 days post op. Getting ready to go to work next week. I'm incorporating more puréed foods every day. I am craving pizza - any suggestions? I've been doing really well as far as keeping everything down and following guidelines. My only problem is I don't want ANYTHING. Not water, not protein shakes, not food. So I'm forcing myself to drink & eat. They want me to focus on the puréed foods and limit my protein shakes to 1 per day. I think I can do that. My pain question is that I was doing pretty well with my pain for about 10 days. Now all of a sudden, I am experiencing BAD pain in my right side, where my drain was, and where my skin is pulled tighter. Any ideas? Am I doing too much? Bending over seems to make it worse. I am down 22 pounds since surgery. I'm able to walk with little pain. Sitting is not comfortable. I have a long driving commute to work, so it scares me. Thanks for any help, and if you can point me to where the recipes are, I'd be happy to browse!
