  1. I had to help my husband take his out after a surgery several years ago. I couldn't believe how far it was put in and how much effort it took to remove it. I thought it would just slide out.... Wrong.
  2. How have you felt while using the patches?
  3. Great job everyone.
  4. Just 26 more days for me. Sept 23nd. I can't believe it's less then a month away.
  5. Yay! I'm the 22nd also. You're the first one I have seen with the same date.
  6. The ideas are running through my head. Massage, spa day, a new expensive purse, a tropical vacation for meeting goal.
  7. Glitter eyes, I love your confession post. I always like to say fake it until you make it. Sounds corny but to some degree it helps at times.
  8. Great question! I don't eat seafood but can tolerate tuna salad. I fear a life of only having chicken after surgery. Hopefully I am one of the people who experienced a change in taste buds.
  9. @@Dub you always ask such great question that I hadn't even thought about yet.
  10. Ugh I know what you mean. I hate to look in the mirror. I totally avoid social outings because I think everyone is looking at me thinking how fat I have gotten.
  11. Great question as I was wondering the same thing. I plan to ask if it will for sure be laparoscopic since he is doing hernia repair at the same time. My surgeons office does an all day pre surgery info prior to surgery as far as nutrition and such.
  12. I had that test as well and it's HORRIBLE. So sorry you had to go through that. It seems like there should be a better way. I know I hope I NEVER have to do that test again.
  13. Mine was partial. I was not put out but they gave me something that made me unaware of what was going on and no memory of it either.
  14. What Protein supplies are my September friends sticking up on? I bought some Syntrax nectar Isopure. I am clearing out a kitchen cabinet that will be "mine". I don't want to get my protein and such from the same place cabinet that has poptarts and such. I just ordered some Popsicle molds and sugar free Torani syrup....Pinterest has lots of great ideas for Protein Drink recipes.
  15. September 22 is the start of the new me!
  16. Lol. The above response was funny. Actually I have wondered the daily carb and sugar limit. I don't got for my pre surgery nutrition info until Sept 3rd. I was hoping to do some meal planning.
  17. I have extreme reflux and the only thing that works for me is a prescription called Dexilant. My insurance doesn't cover it though so I pay out of pocket. I can't wait to get my bypass on September 22nd as I have heard the reflux could be 100% gone.
  18. Just got scheduled for bypass and hernia repair on Sept 22! Let the count down begin!
  19. Blis is part of my self pay program. It covers everything for the first year. It made me feel much better about being self pay.
  20. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't get enough info on all of this. I am approved and should get an early September date yet this week. I am getting a RNY Bypass. I feel like I have watched every video, read every book and questioned every friend who has has this done. I'm so ready for the day to get here.
  21. Wow I am self pay and struggled with spending that much on myself but never thought about it like that. Very good point and VERY eye opening.
  22. Love this thread! I hope to have mine before surgery. My sister has one and loves it!
  23. I changed mine. I couldn't do it from the app. Go the the website and poke around in settings. If you can't find it message me and I will see if I can remember what I did.
