    Not losing!

I'm nearly a month out from my revision. I lost a few lbs of water weight shoeing the first well and and some then NOTHING. I'm doing everything by the book and I'm deeply frustrated.

    Not losing!

I'm getting my protein and fluid. I'm walking every day. Taking my vitamins. Iron. I'm being good. I know there is normally a stall a month out. But I stalled less than a week out. In the last 3 weeks I have lost 1 lb.

    Not losing!

I'm afraid because the story I usually hear is that weight loss is most dramatic immediately after surgery and them slows down. If I'm not losing in what is supposed to be the dramatic phase them what is there to look forward to?

    Had my surgery today!

Hubbark I started an fb group for people who are having bypass in July so we can go through the process together. If you message me you email address I'll send you an invite. My surgery is the 22.
  9. Hi everyone. .Just joined. I was banded in August 2010. I'm on my preop diet scheduled for revision from band to bypass on the 22nd. It's taken years and 8 canceled surgery dates and a change of surgeons and insurance hurdles, infections, and a total of four years from wheni decidedto revise to get to this point and I'm terrified that the scar tissue will prevent the revision. .I don't think my nerves could handle another postponement. Right now I'm really struggling with the preop liquid diet. I'm kept up at night by hunger pangs and I'm too weak to do anything. I'm also very nervous about all the things to keep track of. The Protein, the Vitamins, the liquid, I'm si s scared I'll mess it up and harm my recovery. I have adhd so preplanning and tracking are a huge challenge. I'm open to any ideas to help simplify the process and calm my nerves. My main goal with this surgery is to aleviate my pcos and start ovulating again. I'm 30 years old.
  10. I'm gonna have to try that. I'm just afraid I'll forget to check it.

    Had my surgery today!

Ihi I've been following this post. I'm having my band to bypass surgery on the 22 and thus is the first I've heard of losing slower. . I'm puzzled that you feel no restriction. Has anyone else experienced this? That has me very nervous.
