Hi, my name is Jennifer Gilligan and I have been morbitly obese all my life. I topped the svcale at 325 lbs before the surgery, lost a little here and there, and when I went for the consultation I was down to 277!!! I lost about 20 lbs before my procedure and it was the best thing I could of ever done for myself!! I had the surgery in November of 2014 and to date I have lost 120 lbs!!! I can not tell you how happy I am that I did this, and how much better I look and feel!!! Cant wait to lose the last 11 lbs and stay there for 6 months so my insirance will pay for my excess skin to be removed!!! Thats the only thing that is still making me feel ugly, I have ALOT of excess skin with a ton of stretch marks!!! I eat a very fresh healthy diet and only drink water and crystal light!! It sometimes bugs me that I can only eat 3 bits of ANYTHING! But I figure thats the price I have to.pay to be thin and healthy!!! I hit the 6 month mark in May and boy did the depression set in! Im still working with my Psych and therapist about it, but I wish the MD told me about this in the beginig!!! I have not had any problems as of yet, except alot of my hair has fallen out, so I doubled up on the protein and take 10-20,000 micrograms of biotin daily with my multivitamins!!! Now when I see pictures of mysmyself I don't recognize me, but before the weight loss I would hate to have my picture taken!!! I work out 3-5 days a week doing cardio and strength training! Just trying to tone up my new body!!!
