I guys the surgery went great been home since thursday evening. trying 2 get down this Fluid & Protein Shakes it was hard trying 2 swallow. Not in alot of pain like it was wed after surgery. Just gonna take it easy. taking my kids out today my oldest deserve it

The time will pass quickly! I had mine on 2/15. I have had problems with pain, gas, and nausea, but my doc gave me medicine to help and it is very effective. I feel stronger every day. The surgery itself was not bad at all! I do not have any regrets at all. I have started my new road on an adventure to a healthy new life.

Hoping to fit back into my wedding ring. I "outgrew" it during my pregnancy. Would be great to be able to wear it again in time for our 25th anniversary next year.

Clothes shopping was definitely at the top of my list. The first time I realized I could shop outside the Womens/plus size section was AMAZING!

I took a luxurious soak in the bath tub the other day. I remember the last time I got in the tunnel over 100lbs ago and I was wedged in the tub with barely any Water. It wasn't on my weight loss bucket list but it was a nice surprise.

Take a family picture. I even have a beautiful frame purchased for it already. It's been 4 years since I let anyone take a picture of me. That is the first thing I'm going to do.

I'm going to start taking pictures again, and travel more.

I FEEL YOU! I met with the surgeon this past Friday, and he told me the insurance had approved me that morning. Of course, a panic attack began in my chest. You couldn't have said it better: it just got real! When I left the office and was walking to my car, I started to cry a little. I'm really going through with this. My surgery is on March 21, the day before my 41st birthday. This is my gift to myself.

@nikki3 Congrats! Your 13 year old must be greatly influenced by her mom trying to take care of herself. You have to take care of you, so that you will be there for them.

I heard the first 2 to 3 days are the worst. Good Luck on recovery and hang in there

Glad you are home! First few days are the hardest but it does get easier. Just hang in there. Sip and walk and rest.

I'm having the same problem I had my surgery on Tuesday and my chest still hurts a little to breathe deep like the intibation messed me up

I had mines tuesday the drinking part is hard

So excited & scared @ the same time. Gotta b @ the hospital @ 5:30 first one so excited. Its finally gonna happen
