I have hips and a huge butt - I'm also 9 days post op.
I can not wait to not have to worry if
my butt will fit in a regular chair with handles or at least hurt after a few mins of being squeezed in it.

Same Goes for airplanes seats ! I went to Greece last year and my first flight was spent in a tiny seat ( for me ) for 9 hours in horrible pain that turned into bruises, paid extra for 1st class on the way back.
Also can't wait to stop rummaging through my drawers for the perfect outfit that fits good vs just grabbing what I want to wear.
I have really adventurous friends who like to do crazy things, and id love to join in instead of being scared I'll break something or won't be able to do it.
Also being hit on by normal dudes when I go out with my friends lol.

Really sorry to hear that. Your friends ?! You need them, this is no time to be alone. You'll have us though ! Not sure why they wouldn't support you, but whatever your reasons are, I'm glad you're not letting them sway your opinion. I think that means you know you're doing the right thing....
They will support you one day, maybe they're just "visual" people.
I hope you stay strong and know they this will be the best choice you can make for you a better life.

my surgery is this Tuesday the 30th & I NEED to know... How bad is the pain on day one after surgery ? Is it a couple hours and then morphine does its job or ? I know I shouldn't focus on the pain but it's the only thing I'm truly worried about.

You were always worthy Kell, it's just a matter of realizing it, and I'm glad you did ! I know that this is the best thing for us both, the way I'm looking at it is that this is just the scary part before our new lives begin. I just finished crying, not sure what your hospital is like but my nurse at doctors office said she'll have the nurses at the hospital give me something for the anxiety before the surgery... What time is your surgery ? Mine is going to be around 11:30, sadly I'm the 3rd person tomorrow ????
