  1. My BariMelts Calcium chewables say that they're GMO-free and gluten-free. (Also appear to be vegan too IMO.) Interested in learning about other GMO-free options!
  2. Give them away -- no carbonation after surgery.
  3. Please feel free to search for & join "WLS Vegetarians" on Facebook.
  4. Am 10 months out and only my live-in BF knows. It's entirely your own personal business. I say lots of diff things when asked why I eat so little -- had a big lunch, working with a nutritionist on my diet plan, not feeling great today, etc. Surprisingly, most people (aside from waitstaff) seem not to notice or care too much. And now that I'm down 109 lbs, certainly no one is complaining!
  5. Please search for and join "WLS Vegetarians" on Facebook - there are lots of us out there!

  7. The "original flavour" is better than the "100 calorie" version IMO (makes sense )
  8. I travel alot and def carry my own Protein bars. I find airport food pretty limiting -- sometimes I'll buy a piece of cheese or a small bag of nuts. Don;t be fooled by the "protein drinks" for sale -- they are usually way too high in carbs & sugar!
  9. I fly often & never check a bag. I've had no issues bringing a baggies full of assorted vitamins. No prob with either small packets of protein powder nor a small Tupperware container of protein powder. I fly mostly out of EWR & CHS.
  10. I always have liquid Tylenol on hand for toothaches, which I get frequently now. Luckily, I don't get nearly as many headaches as I used to before surgery...
  11. I only have sashimi, which is raw fish - no rice. Or sushi specialty rolls that are wrapped in cucumber slices or seaweed instead of rice.
  12. Please search for & join "WLS Vegetarians" on Facebook! There are lots of us vegetarians (and vegans) out there!
  13. I get hiccups from rating or drinking too fast (or too much). At 9 months, it's a good reminder for me to slow down!
  14. Hmmmm, I was told 5 small meals / snacks per day. Am down 103 lbs in 9 months, so works for me!
  15. Check out "WLS Vegetarians" on Facebook -- there are lots of us vegetarians out there!
  16. Yes! 8 months out & 100 lbs down and I track using FitBit app every day. I feel if I didn't I would quickly lose control of my eating habits. Tracking helps me get my protein in, keep carbs down and maintain healthy eating habits.
  17. If you're not already a member, pleas search for & join "WLS Vegetarians" on Facebook.
  18. That happens to me when I eat something too high in sugar or fat content. I've actually had to lie down for 1/2 hour due to feeling so exhausted.
  19. Sleeved 11/5/2015 - down 98 lbs to date! Currently at 194 lbs (am 5'9) - thrilled with my progress so far!
  20. Poshmark app! I love it! You can buy cute new clothes super cheap! I'm addicted since losing 95 lbs - and still plan to lose more! You can also sell your old clothes that don't fit anymore - my closet name is "jvpaquette"
  21. Ughhhhhh! I have always had horribly sensitive teeth -- and since getting sleeved last November the sensitivity is worse them ever! I'm already a lie-long Sensodyne user -- not sure what else I can do?
  22. Yep - it means I ate too fast or a bite too much.
