  1. I had WLS in July 2015, gastric sleeve. Shortly before my surgery, it came to my attention that I had an overeating disorder. I went through with the surgery and lost 100lbs. I have regained 60lbs. I feel like a big, fat failure. I feel stuck inside of a broken mind. For the first 20 months after surgery, I was killin' it! Went to the gym 3-4 times a week, got a trainer, was cooking and eating well, monitored my intake of carbs and fats. I was so determined not to fail. But sometimes your mind is stronger than your will and desire to achieve something else. It was recommended to me to keep a notepad. I did this a few weeks prior to surgery and a few post-op. I was rereading my pre-op posts and I wrote, "I feel ready for this. I'm excited. But I can't help but feel like I'll eventually sabotage myself" My mind is broken and I don't know how to fix it. Now, I would consider myself about 80% suicidal. I'd rather be dead than be fat because my mind is broken. I feel so literally trapped in my body that I'd rather die than be fat for one more goddamn day. If I tell anyone this, I'm scared they're going to admit me. I don't want to end my life but I'm so sad and tired of hating myself that I don't know how else to get out. I don't understand how people love me, how my boyfriend says I look good. I feel like a giant, fat, slob who is so broken mentally that I am barely holding it together. Someone help me, please.

    Hair falling out!

I'm 25yo and 3.5 months out. The moment I hit 3 months, it's been falling it in clumps in the shower. I clean out my brush twice a day. I'm freaking out! I have definitely noticed a thinning in my hair. I'm taking biotin and using biotin shampoo and Rogain like the Durham told me too but OMG, I am losing A LOT of hair.

    Puréed Food Stage

What brands/types of yogurt are people buying for this stage? All the yogurt I look at has so much sugar in it! Any suggestions?

22 years old in need of advice

I am 25 years old and had my surgery last week on July 30th, 2015. I understand what you mean about social situations. In my family, food brings us together. We all enjoy it and enjoy each other's company. For me, I took a step back from being a social foodie. I'm lucky to have very few, select friends who are extremely supportive. Who understand that trips to restaurants can't be "our thing" anymore. My mom is a rockstar and my brother and sister are slowly coming around to not having a restaurant be a meeting place. That's been my biggest struggle. Just remember that if you want this and want to be healthier, missing then weekly dinner/drinks night is worth it.

CPAP Machine. I have no love for it.

I've had a CPAP since 2008. It has totally improved my sleeping and my life. I can live without it! I had sleeve surgery last week and the doctors are saying I, eventually, will no longer need it. I can't imagine not needing it!!

    Three days post op

Hi everyone, I am officially post op! I can't believe it! I'm having an easier time with this than I anticipated. The day after surgery was tough, and the second night a little harder because of sleep and pain starting to seep in but I got home earlier this afternoon and am feeling really good! So excited for my new life

    Westchester/NYC New York Sleevers

I absolutely love the entire office. I have found their protocol and program to far surpass hang I have heard of. Do you plan on attending support group I'm June Dr. Kaul is also my surgeon! My date is July 30th. Any advice for me? I'm excited but a little nervous. The thing that makes me nervous the most is living alone and having no one to keep my accountable. It's a lot of pressure to put on yourself.
