I'm a RN Supervisor Acute Psych hospital I was off 2 wks. we work 12hr shifts 3 days a week I was walking over 10,000 steps each shift and I felt great good luck to you:)

52 272 80lbs and a lot of inches gone 1yr out

I was 52 when I had my surgery July 13,2015 I'm down 80lbs feeling great:) I have been having a ball with my 3yr old granddaughter who is a handful we have been going everywhere together. I have even been on the rides in the amusement parks!!!

Mexico wonderful experience since I'm a RN I'm very critical about my Dr's I went to Long Term VSG Dr Maytorena in Tijuana. I had diabetes and was on 2 meds for that and insulin at night along with 2 blood pressure medication and sleep apnea those things are gone and I feel wonderful.

If you are talking about Dr Lufti from Mercy Hospital in Chicago I received a lap band from him 2009 and it slipped I had to have it removed when I moved to AZ 2011.

That is so true I have BCBS of TN and my job is in AZ put my home company is I TN I had my surgery in Mexico last July

Hey everyone my weight loss has really slowed down I have lost a total of 80 lbs I feel great I'm off all my diabetes and blood pressure meds I'm trying to put a picture on here lol.

Hi im the house supervisor at a Psych Hospital I had my sleeve done July 13 and im down 50blbs. I track between 12000 and 13000 steps each shift I work 12 hour shifts my energy level is wonderful now. I drink premier Protein shakes I love the chocolate flavor. I take small containers of cheese and tuna for dinner I bring meat, vegetable I drink a lot of Water throughout the shift good luck

Hi RN here I was sleeved on July 13 and went back to work July 27. I did not tell my co-workers about my plans. I work in a Psych hospital on a intensive care unit and we are always busy with codes you name it. Im down 30 lbs so far and I feel great. When I went back I was still on full liquids so the pre made premier protein shakes came in handy

Congrats I had surgery on July 13 almost 3wks out. I feel great im even back at work. Congrats to every who have had surgery and good luck to everyone who is coming up

Going to Disneyland next year on my grand babies birthday and being able to walk around and enjoy my family without being tired and out of breath

As I have stated on here before I have had 2 failed lap bands:( With the first one I lost 115lbs:) My daughters made me go shopping with them and I bought a whole new wardrobe. I was sleeved on the 13 and I went into the spare room and moved all my old clothes to the front by size. I feel like a kid waiting to start losing weight again so I can get back into those clothes my daughters helped me pick out

I'm 6 days post op and it does get better I went to the movies yesterday:) My husband called me a cheap date because I had all my goodies in my purse chicken broth and water:)

Tomorrow is my surgery finally here I know this tool is going to work for me and I don't have to worry about it slipping on me. I know my weight loss will be slow im grateful for any weight loss. We are driving to San Diego this afternoon and staying over night I have to be at the clinic at 9am. Wish me luck guys!!!!

Hey Kiki52! We are getting so close to the day! How is your preop going? I'm doing good I have one more 12hr shift to do tomorrow at work and then we are heading out on Sunday afternoon. I'm excited and on the sleeved side. How are you doing?
