Any Nurses out there? :)

Hello everyone!

I am a registered nurse in a busy Trauma ICU. I am the Critical Care transporter, and usually walk 8-10 miles in a 12 hour shift, and am lifting and turning patients, carrying heavy monitors, etc. I consider my job pretty laborious. Any other RN's out there that have had the surgery? How did you find time to eat, let alone eat slowly? How are your energy levels? I have just begun the 6 month process my insurance requires after my PCP referral and am reaching out to anyone that has a similar job to mine! Any advice and input is welcome! Thank you!
