  1. I count Water, Protein, carbs, sugar and fat. I tend to have more carbs at the weekends. 20 or less weekdays, 50 or less at the weekends.
  2. Hello Sam, There are a few UK sleevers here, you could try posting in the UK room too. I was sleeved 12 weeks ago. Congratulations on the surgery date! What made you decide on going to Belgium?
  3. I walk my dog for 90 minutes a day, up and down hills, through forests etc near to where I live. I joined a gym 4 weeks ago and use the toning tables and the cardio vascular part of the main gym. In 6 weeks I will be giving up the toning tables and starting on the weights, hoping to build up some muscle.
  4. Congratulations and well done!!
  5. Best wishes Dub, I am sure you will smash it!!!
  6. Congratulations on the surgery and speedy recovery! I felt I turned a corner with energy at the end of week 5 and I was very good with getting Water and Protein in after the surgery, apart form the first 3 or 4 days. Week 6 was good and I felt back to normal.

I definitely had the moody and irritable stage! I think there are quite a few here who can relate to that too. Are you still taking your acid medication first thing in the morning, 30 minutes before you eat?
  8. Congratulations to you both and speedy recovery from the surgery!
  9. I actually saw my mound last night when I lay down. I haven't seen it for years !! Finally my tummy is shrinking ... yayyyyyy Edited to add: Book me in for a tummy tuck too LOL
  10. It's the only number I love seeing go up!! Amazing
  11. Hello karla, welcome to bariatric pal.
  12. Ouch... not a very nice day but great results on the bloods and congratulations on your two year sleeve anniversary
  13. Looking great !!
  14. Nice to meet you ZoeJane ☺
  15. I am 11 weeks out on Thursday and apart from the few 'head hunger' episodes I had early on, I have never felt hungry. I have to plan my work day out and keep an alarm on reminding me to eat or I would just carry on working and forget. Even seeing other people eating doesn't bother me. I know this will change in time but I am LOVING it right now
  16. Ah to be 'normal'... sounds a good place to be!! Congratulations, you have done amazingly well
  17. Congratulations on your surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery
  18. The chewable ones are fine on an empty tummy but I think you're right. Better taken with food.
  19. @@MIMISAN I am in England and generally, if you are private and paying yourself they like you to stay two nights. I could have stayed up to five but wanted to go home, plus I was doing well so there was no need for me to stay anyway.
  20. Such a waste of money! It's odd how things change. I can't face eggs now yet the first few weeks I had them for Breakfast most mornings
  21. Thank You Soodoo... Hope you are well ~~ Hugs~~
  22. I was always fine with Centrum Advantage one a day before surgery.... Funny how we change after VSG!! Hubby has arrived with Centrum Chewable, I have had one and all is well with the world again.
  23. Congratulations on reaching Onederland.... feels good doesn't it !!!
  24. Since surgery on the 23rd July 2015, I have been taking Centrum Chewable (not gummies) and everything has been fine. I had bloods done and last week got the results which were great. I had no need of B12 injections and Iron was good. So I was very happy. On advice from my dietitian, I started taking regular Centrum yesterday and have thrown up after taking it. All I can taste is the Vitamin and its put me off eating today. My dietitian isn't in until Thursday and wondered if anyone else had this issue?
