Sales people have always fallen all over themselves to help me. I LOOK like I am going to spend money, they know a shopper (it is all in yhe accessories). Before I just couldn't fit luxury clothes even though i bought shoes and bags. Now I can be well dressed head to toe.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from Apple1 in I don't know what is going on, but I am dropping weight like crazy since I broke that
I think I dropped 2 sizes that month, at least, it wasn't just pounds it was a ton of inches too. Enjoy it. Your body will stop when it doesn't want to lose anymore, then you will be fighting another stall before you know it.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from Apple1 in Six months post-op and 90 pounds lost! I'm so happy with the weight loss, but I still
90 pounds in 6 months is a ton though. Still having goals and wanting more is what keeps us going. Keep going!

I lost the most weight the fastest in month 4. I could move around and had lots of energy and I was eating a decent amount of calories. I think months 3-6 can really be huge for a lot of people.

No, I didn't have success with the pre-op diet and I was miserable and starving the whole time. All it did was convince me I needed surgery. Losing weight without being hungry is amazing.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from Newme17 in Guess what!? I haven't had a single bout of heartburn/acid reflux since being sleeved
A lot of GERD post-op is self created. Over eating is the main culprit but peopel won't admit to it. I follow this girl on IG, she has WLS before me, she eats like a damn trucker in amounts I can't even imagine, and she is claiming GERD when really she has been over eating since day one.

We have a society that encourages gluttony though, so that makes it even harder

A lot of people have serious untreated food addictions. It is really sad that these issues aren't addressed properly, although it is very hard to treat anyway.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from Newme17 in Does anyone purposely go to bed hungry or do you eat if you're hungry right at bedtim
I do not eat past 8 PM unless I am extremely active that day or I am way behind on my protein, like below 60. Other than that, being hungry, well wanting to eat, is a sign I need to go to bed. I drink a glass of water and go to sleep.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from ProudGrammy in I have post op questions do you really be on a liquid diet for 3 months after surgery
If they are forcing you on liquids for 3 months, and selling you something like Optifast. I would look for another Dr.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from MowryRocks in I'll be 9 months post op this week, 90lbs down. I've been stalled at 200lbs since 07/
I bounced around at 200,201,202 for what seemed like a long time, I can't remember how long it was now, maybe 2-3 weeks, maybe a week. Then I never hit 199, I was 198, lol.

OutsideMatchInside got a reaction from MSinger in Ok, I need some accountability from my friends here. I am starting to want to buy eve
If you are dropping weight it is so pointless. In the weight loss phase I bought as few clothes as possible while always keep clothes that fit. It is really important to have clothes that dit and aren't too big. Shoes though are my biggest problem. I'm between sizes still and nothing fits right it is really annoying. Just don't waste your money buying a lot at once, just buy something new when you drop a size. If you were high quality workout stuff/compression, you will notice the difference pretty fast.
