  8. I'm down 92lbs since May, I was extremely nervous too, but it was the best thing I could have ever done at age 60. You'll feel the same way once the surgery is over. Best of luck to you on this journey we are all in this together the best thing in common is weight loss. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using BariatricPal mobile app

  20.    Carefree2003 reacted to a post in a topic: Sleeve vs RNY
  21. I had months to decide which one to choose and I kept going back and forward on my decision until the week of the surgery. I choose RNY because I wanted the most bang for my bucks. After a lot of research I felt this was best for me, one of the main reason was the 80% weight loss over the Sleeves 60%. Plus others have gotten the Sleeve only to end up getting the RNY later down the line for one reason or another. I didn't want that to happen to me so why not go for the gusto. Definitely didn't regret the decision.
  22. Well I am two months in with the RNY as of yesterday and for last couple of weeks I have not lost any weight, I am concerned about that. I have been able to eat a little more now but that should not stall my weight loss. I am 48 lbs. down since May 18th. Can't figure out why the plateau so soon, I have given up a lot no fast food, limited starch, etc. was hoping to have lost more by now. Any advice would be appreciated.
  23. Doctor told me sweat, nausea, dizziness, hearting racing and a general feeling bad are all part of dumping. Some symptoms are more extreme than others depending on what you eat, but its all concerned dumping syndrome. Every time I eat cereal and milk I feel bad, start sweating, feel dizzy and have to lay down.
  24. Mine is May 18th I am very very nervous but I'm ready for this. The pre-op liquid diet is no fun. Hope I'm up for the Challenge.
