  1. I drink plain Water most of the time. Experiment with the water temperature, warmer or cold until you find a temp you can tolerate. I drink unsweetened hot tea basically all day right now to keep hunger at bay and stay warm. If I want a flavor or something sweet, I drink water with water drops. They are stevia flavored water drops. Raspberry lemonade is my favorite
  2. At 8 weeks I was really just eating Protein. 6 oz of fish and 3 oz of any other meat, 4oz of lobster. Around that time I had fish 4 times a day so I didn't have to take Protein shakes, because I was tired of them. With fish I could eat enough to meet my protein goals and not have to supplement.
  3. Maybe have your zinc and iron checked. Also extra protein helps with hair growth. When I would grow my hair out before surgery I would always up my protein intake to increase growth.
  4. This alcohol threads always turn up. If you used search and looked at any of the past threads you should have known you were never going to get the kind of answers you wanted. If what you are doing is working for you, then keep doing it.
  5. I love the level 1 watermelon. I had it first after surgery. It's too sweet for me now but it is a really good protein with BCAAS. I might get another container in the summer.
  6. They are attached with surgical glue, they can't come off and they won't interfere with any equipment they use. You just can't have any metal on your body, your nails need to be bare, no makeup. If your lashes are done the right way no one will even be bale to tell you have them on. I miss mine, might have to get them back soon. When I had my surgery I had a partial sew-in, no issues. I'm natural also and so is the texture of my weave. I kept it in a pineapple bun on the top of my head the whole time.
  7. I have been to every state in the Union and several countries in the world. What I said is only offensive if you want it to be, and that certainly wasn't my intention. Are we really going to pretend that obesity and diabetes are not epidemics in those areas? And deny actual facts just to get huffy?
  8. Do you like seafood? I eat mostly Swai, Crab and lobster. Swai is my favorite because it is cheap, high moisture, very soft and barely any fish taste.
  9. Zucchini or Cauliflower most of the time. really didn't get to the point to having room for them until almost 3 months out though. http://www.everydaymaven.com/2015/20-interesting-cauliflower-rice-recipes/ http://hurrythefoodup.com/zoodle-zucchini-pasta-recipes/
  10. Supplement Superstore is awesome. The guys they have on staff, at least at the 2 I go to know about surgery and make sure you get the right proteins. The ones in Missouri don't stock Syntrax that I have seen, while the Illinois stores carry the whole line. If you live in STL and you want the most variety and the lowest prices on Syntrax nectar, make the trip to the store in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville. $27.99
  11. I live in the midwest there aren't a lot of really thin people, it doesn't take a lot to be consider thin. Alabama is the 2nd fattest state in the country, only surpassed by Mississippi. Those are facts not my opinion. We are so used to people being over weight that people forget what thin/healthy looks likes.
  12. I'm sure 105 is pretty rare in Alabama, but if you were on either coast no one would care. You are going to bounce up a little at some point. i would take other people suggestions here and add maybe a Protein shake and some healthy fats like nuts or avocado.
  13. Cronometer is great for recipes, it is really the best there is as far as details. I used it for making recipes and getting the nutritional label for them. Love it.
  14. I'm 6 months and I can eat everything. Some things I have only had one bite of just to taste them. I really find that I am just not interested in food like I was in the past.
  15. @@AdecadeLater Oh I totally believe that people don't lose restriction. The problem is there is a common theme around here that people lose restriction, but if enough questions are asked, they are grazing and/or eating slider foods. Now that I am healed, I have "less" restriction but it isn't really less restriction, I am just healed at this point. I still have the same or the necessary amount of restriction, except if I don't watch it I can eat more just because the discomfort from eating more is not as "intense", not because the restriction isn't there, it is just easier to ignore. So I really appreciate you posting your experience and saying that 10 years out still have restriction and that you are still careful eating. I think that is the key to success right there, still paying attention. So again, thanks.
  16. I was told 3 months. I think around 3.5 months I had like 2 sips of wine. I went to a Christmas party and I had a drink that I took 2 sips of and just carried around all night. I gave up alcohol long before surgery, and it just doesn't interest me. I will fake it though in social settings. I also really don't like the warm feeling of alcohol in my stomach, as soon as I take a sip my stomach is on simmer, no thanks.
  17. Thank you so much for posting this. We are the same height. If I could hit 200 and stay there for years, I would be happy with it. Thanks for giving me hope it can happen, and also posting your honest experience of how eating is going for you. It is good to know 10 years later, you still have restriction, even not being "perfect".
  18. For years I have had a protein shake in the morning because I really don't have an appetite in the morning but you should have something. So I just have a protein shake for breakfast. I like it now because it keeps my calories low, kicks me off with some protein for the day. Then later if I change my plans or go out to eat, I already started the day off saving calories and carbs.
  19. Dr Now is not a plastic surgeon and he is old. The other 2 doctors are just not very skilled. Every outcome on this show so far has been sub par. There are lots of good doctors, many of the skilled affordable ones are out of the US. Start researching on Real Self. The good doctors are already booked until 2017.
  20. The last time I went and got some I got 10 bags should last me 6 months or more
  21. Everyone that doesn't fill out their profile has a date of 1999. I wish that was turned off.
  22. Copper IUD. No hormones. No room for mistakes.
  23. Did anyone watch skin tight last week? I'm really not impressed with any of these procedures. They just remove skin they make no efforts or bad efforts at body sculpting. Seeing the complications afterward is educational.
  24. They really supply everything. I wore the same clothes home I wore to the hospital with the exception changing my panties. I was only in the clothes about 1.5 hours before surgery. Take as little as possible. The only thing I used that I brought along with me, was my phone and lip balm. They provided everything else for me. I didn't even need lip balm really. When I woke up my lips were dry and the recovery nurse put vaseline on them for me. I was only in the hospital about 26 hours.
