HI I spent most of my life overweight, my GP said I didn't qualify for surgery because I had no underlying health problems apart from being overweight. I weighed 140kg (22stone) I was at a very low point in my life, I decided to go private and had gastric sleeve surgery on Dec 23rd 2012. The surgeon said not many people decide to have weightloss surgery before Christmas. I just wanted it done. The surgery was a success, but I wished I'd exercised & listened more to my surgeons advice. I lost 51kg (8stone) happy days ahead I finally felt human. Unfortunately bad habits set in & I gained weight I went from 89kg to 99kg..not good & I've started feeling low again. The frustrating thing is I know what I can & can't eat or drink but my willpower is non existent. I'm hoping by joining this forum will help me get back on track.
