Gonna be busy for a while. Hope all remains well here on BP. Don't let people be idiots and sabotage their safety. Call 'em out on it. I would if I were here. Have fun. Be safe. Enjoy the new fun that your weight loss will allow.

it's not Monday, so it's not official yet - but I hit ONEDERLAND this morning! had to get David up to come look at the scale. :-) without a witness I am afraid I would have told myself I imagined it.

Trying to recover from best Birthday weekend ever. Jimmy Buffet concert, romantic B&B...epic stuff

Well....hopped on bathroom scale this morning...322 on one...went and used the HD scale and it read 325. This officially drops me from a 58 BMI down to 39. 153 lbs lost and the ship is still sailing. Feels damn good... so grateful for this sleeve gift. So grateful for the friends found here at Bariatric Pal.

Today the scale reached that 100# lost milestone! I'll be celebrating by treating myself to a dermatological procedure :-)

Almost there --- I have now lost 99 pounds from my all time high and am close to a normal BMI. I am just reveling in all the compliments especially from my family and friends. The loose skin is beginning to show and I have lost a moderate amount of hair - small price to pay for health and looks advantages of sleeve. I am thrilled and now looking at the long haul of maintenance. My appetite is much improved which is scarey but I am staying completely away from refined sugar which helps. I have been given an absolute miracle with this surgery and I am deeply grateful. Happy Holidays to all my friends on this forum.

Does anyone experience hiccups even when they don't eat?
-
When I eat too fast, the hiccups come. Also, if I eat too much I get them but they start about 35-40 minutes after eating. Hiccups are also my first warning sign that I am approaching maximum capacity. I have learned to stop eating when they come. Only thing that helped me was slowing down when I ate.
