  1. Lost 56lbs after rny. Time to celebrate!
  2. Orange roughy, flounder and trout are good choices for a light fish. I agree, your tastes do change after WLS. I was a sweets eater. Now the thought of any dessert makes me gag. Not to mention my post surgery experiences have taught me my stomach can't handle it.
  3. I had that same experience around 6-7 weeks. My doctor put me back on soft foods and I gradually added more things. I even hated drink water. Hope you'll get this resolved soon. I know it's not fun.
  4. You look amazing! I really appreciate your sharing this part of your journey. It helps me get over my fears of surgical pain. The results are clearly worth it.
  5. That's amazing!! Congrats.
  6. I'm looking forward to a boob lift next year after I've reached my goal. Please be honest, was that surgery difficult to recover from and what about post-op pain? My rny was a breeze.
  7. Yes, I'm definitely going to have them lifted and maybe filled too. I loved my C cups.
  8. I have Aetna and did the 90 day multi-disciplinary program. It actually too 4 months to complete all the required visits at the right 30 day intervals. Once all completed, approval took 10 days.
  9. I drove 3 days after surgery but wasn't on any pain meds by then.
  10. I have a flex and love it. Still haven't figured out how to connect with others but it helps me keep up with calories, water consumption, exercise.
  11. I bought leggings and some loos fitting tops. Good thing is that they will fit for a while.
  12. Elective surgery is the boob job I'm going to have after I've met my goal weight. Making people live with illness (including excess weight) is almost criminal.
  13. Oh Nooooo!!! You must be one of the lucky ones...????
  14. I'm two months out from rny. I had to buy new bras that are a cup size smaller. Anyone else have this problem? Think I'm going to need a lift job.
  15. I love my leggings with long tops that flow in the wind. LOL
  16. You should be super proud of all the work you've put into your weight loss. I've wanted to get some just to celebrate me!
  17. I haven't seen my surgeon since surgery. His assistant handles all appointments. I think this is a common practice.
  18. That's too early. You should wait 2-3 months minimum. Six is prob advisable.
  19. I tried a flat soda and it made me sick. Probably too much sugar. I'm over it now.
  20. I That's been my experience so far as well. My doc has urged me to keep trying to incorporate more food into my diet. It's a slow process. Hang in there.
  21. I just realized when I am full and I'm at 7 weeks post op. It's weird because before now I was always nauseous after eating. Just figured out why. LOL
  22. They're just treating it before surgery. I didn't have it but my doc told me it would not prevent surgery. I has the nose swab come back positive for bacteria. I had to use a salve for 10 days before surgery. You'll be fine.
