I have to force myself to get the Protein and adequate nutrition in. I love my sleeve. Best decision I've made, I just wish I would've had it sooner! Preop 263 Current 230 I will be 4 weeks post op tomorrow Good luck!

  12. My scaled was stalled for two weeks... Dietician said make sure I was getting my protein. Started really focusing on the protein and viola! I lost 5lbs this week. My new protein drink of choice- syntax nectar. I've only tried the strawberry kiwi but my friends (non bariatric) drink them too and like the lemonade
  13. I have finally found a way to get my protein in... Syntax nectar on the go packets. Flavorful- add to bottled water. Today I drank mine with ice. Strawberry kiwi. 23grams of protein per packet. I've also added eggs into breakfast. I went two weeks without any weightloss. Once I added more protein in the scale moved! I lost 5lbs this week! Keep at it! Remember this is a TOOL, we still have to work at it! I can't wait to be cleared to exercise.

  17. My daughter goes to Little. we live not too far from martin off of Park Springs and pleasant Ridge. Definitely a small world! I teach at Bebensee, most people have never heard of it, lol. It is AISD, and it is over by cravens park, by ferguson jh. I FINALLY slept through the night! First time in 8 days! Now, if only the next 3 days would fly by!
  18. It was tough at first. I had to review all day and could NOT sit comfortably without a lean that looks TOTALLY unprofessional! Lol. I sipped all day. I can't stomach anymore Protein shakes! Yuck! I came home and had some soup. I feel great now, all stretched out in bed! Lol. I had a hard time reaching for things on my table too. But I know the walking up and down the halls was beneficial. I CANT wait for this large incision to heal! 8 more days until summer! I am in arlington.. Where are you? Did I mention that I was a teacher?
  19. I am day 8 post op, and this darn right side incision is my only nemesis! When did everyone else's stop hurting!??
