Well had part of my revision done, Dr Alvarez couldn't do sleeve because my band had so much damage and a lot of scar tissue, now I can't wait for 4 months to go by to get sleeve done. A great thing my surgeon told me is that the best exercise I could do is use an elliptical, I don't have surgery till Oct 25 but I have a lapband that will be revised to sleeve. Hi I am almost 2 years next month post opp. And I am n this boat I get stressed or bored and I eat and lately I can't stop the junk and carbs. Carbs r so easy and when I have a thin husband and kids who can eat whatever it makes it so hard. We are super busy all the time managing a business that we eat out ALOT! Ugh I also am in same boat! I have 9.2 cc in my 14cc band and I don't feel as though I am at sweet spot! I see doctor in a week and a half and imma try another fill to see what that does I still eat about 2 cups which from research I should eat 1 cup. I do get hungry within 2-3 hours not 4 hours as I should! I read on another site a lady said you only eat till ur not hungry anymore well I'm finding that way difficult right now.

Well in my opinion I never felt bad talking about being banded I tell everyone because I wanna help people in my situation and I might get help as well cuz no ones perfect. It is nothing to be ashamed of at all you have been brave enough to face changing yourself and making yourself healthier. I have struggles and it's nice that I can call my family and talk to them about it for support. My whole family is obese and I have gotten my mother stepfather and aunt was parents with Lapband and aunt with sleeve. I can a tell you that they are your family and friends they should love and support you. If you get the Lapband recovery is quick and I was at work the next day no biggie only pain I had was the gas from being blown up I had no soreness nttn. If you go for other more aggressive surgery recovery is a bit longer and noticeable. I hope everything works out for you and don't scare yourself they r your family and friends they will support you and Love you and want you to be healthy.
