  2. I am 5 weeks out from surgery doing great! I had revision from a lap band to bypass. I am so glad to be free from the band after 9 years! I also have a high tolerance to pain so once I was home I did just fine. I needed no pain meds after week 2 and then I was just taking hydro codone at night. I have lost 30 lbs! Go for it! I was worth it!
  3. I had my surgery 5 weeks ago tomorrow. I had a revision from lap band to bypass. Surgery and recovery went well and I have lost 25 lbs. I am having pain on my left side near my belly button. Has anyone heard of this or had it? I cant put my finger on it and don't see my surgeon till July 24. Any suggestions?
  4. I am 3 weeks out today. I already lost 20 lbs! The pain was not that bad. I was on a morphine pump and I had a revision from a lap band to gastric bypass. My awesome surgeon Dr. Chang said he did a lot of cutting! I went home on Wed. You will do great! The surgery and days after are just a blur to me now and well worth It!!!! Good luck!
  5. I am 11 days out form bypass surgery. I love my new life already! The only issue I am having is no energy a all. Everything exhausts me! I am on at least 4 oz protein liquid every hour and liquid in between for 2 weeks post op. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do? Thanks!
  6. I am June 8! Very excited! Two weeks tomorrow also a little nervous. I am having a revision band to bypass. I cannot wait to start my weight loss journey.I am in Texas Corpus Christi to be exact. Any Texans here? Good luck to all June surgerys!
  7. I got approval and a surgery date of June 8 also band to bypass. I cannot wait to be free from my band. It has not been a good experience at all! I am 2 weeks out and finally with a surgery date very nervous. I also have Aetna insurance. Good luck to everyone!
