    Sleeve and sushi?

I don't know much about sushi. Didn't know they made some with no rice. The cucumber seaweed sounds good. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Sleeve and sushi?

Yes I know the rice can do that but sushi rice is a bit harder and drier so idk if it would absorb as much liquid.. not sure. But the raw shrimp and salmon would be great. I have been eating a lot of seafood lately and was hoping sushi would work. May have to try some at home before this dinner and see how it goes. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  3. I am 2 months post op and really struggling in the mornings. I wake up and get dressed and around then take my acid reducer and multi Vitamin. I struggle to eat Breakfast because I'm always nauseous in the mornings. I try to drink some of a shake on my way to work and that can be hit or miss. If I eat anything I usually get sick. I just have no appetite in the morning and am nauseous. It goes away in a few hours. Any suggestions? I really need to eat breakfast to prevent too much snacking or feeling weak because I haven't had anything. I have a high energy job so it is important I stay on my toes. Any thoughts? Morning nausea

It's prescription rantidine which is zantac and it's what they gave me to take after surgery. Supposed to take it twice daily. It says it prevents and relieves so I'm not sure. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    A good birth control?

I use nuvaring and love it. It does have hormones but only a small amount over the 3 weeks you have it in. Have been on it 4 years and I love it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Post sleeve comfort foods -roll call!

Chili Avocado Turkey meatballs with ricotta cheese If I want something sweet I take Yoplait greek whipped yogurt and pop it in the freezer. It's heavenly but not for all the time as the sugar is a little high. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Anyone in their younger 20s?

I was 25 and my highest weight of 295. It was scary but I think we are at an advantage having this done now we have our whole lives ahead of us. Also it's easier to turn back some damage done to our bodies because of our age. Congrats on your journey!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  10. I used to work this shift and my eating times were 1:00 when I woke up. Then 6ish when I got lunch at work. Then when I got home I would eat something small like greek yogurt or string cheese or a couple turkey meatballs. Since you're staying up so late I would eat when you got home then maybe a small snack before you go to bed. Make sure you get in protien. Maybe take a shake to work and sip on that throughout the shift. Also stay hydrated as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  11. Just wondering who else is with me? I am just under 8 weeks post op and have lost 40lbs. Had a 3 week stall. Just seem to be losing very slowly. I figured out I was snacking too much so got that problem solved. Started going to the gym and that helped break my stall. I get in my Protein and liquids. Sometimes I struggle with liquid but usually I do ok. I get frustrated with the slow weight loss. I feel others expect more. I expect more. I always struggled to lose weight my whole life and so now that I lose slowly it is difficult on me. Emotionally I struggle making sure I am doing the right things but it's difficult. Anyone in the same boat? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Family likes to eat out

Last night we went to a burger 0lace and I got a turkey burger with a side of broccoli. No bun. The waitress never batted an eye and I didn't feel any different. I really wanted my man's onion rings but I got over that quickly. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

  16. Well I stalled and I did embrace it and tried to relax and learn from it. But I've been stalled for 3 weeks. Today I am 7 weeks post op and have been stuck since week 4. Do I try to break it or just keep going and let my body work it out? I just get worried about the honeymoon stage and really want to meet my goal. I get in my Protein no problem and get in my fluids almost every day. I follow the rules my NUT and Dr's gave me. Starting the gym this week. Just don't know what else to do. I know stalls are normal but I'm beginning to think I'm failing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  17. Hello! I am having a football get together tomorrow and need ideas for a dessert that I can make that maybe I can enjoy too. Please send me some recipes!! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Tums anyone?!

Yeah I take zantac in the morning and before bed but had a little episode this evening. I need to see if my doctor can prescribe me something else or stronger though. I feel like this doesn't do the job. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  19. Anyone know if it's ok to take tums? I take zantac twice a day and I'm not due for 3 hrs yet but I ate a bit of spice and now I have heartburn like nobody's business. Is it safe to take tums?! Someone help. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

FEMALES - DECREASED URINE FLOW - ANYONE?

I fought stress incontinence before surgery and urgency and now I don't have any issues. Dr said that's why. Only 5 weeks out and 35lbs down. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

FEMALES - DECREASED URINE FLOW - ANYONE?

As far as the speed/volume goes.it could be because you don't have as much weight pushing on your bladder as you used to. Also be sure you are well hydrated. Sounds like to me since you have lost weight there isn't anything pushing on your bladder anymore so you don't have to go as often. That's what's happened to me! 24. Ok so I am 4 weeks post op and I have this ridiclious craving for chips and salsa or avocado slices. I know I'm not allowed chips so I need suggestions as to what else to dip or how I can satisfy that craving. I'm on soft foods. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
