  1. Hello everyone. I am so excited about this new adventure in my life. I had my surgery 12/27/07. I have been overweight since my high school years, but really put on the last 100 lbs the last 10 years of my life. I have heard some of the ladies locally that were banded, and they've talked about being sizes 24 or 28 and now are in size 10. I can't imagine how it will feel to shop in a real store and not have to go to specialty stores. This first week of being banded was slow (painful) moving, but nothing that I woulnd't do over 100 times to have the tools to do loose weight and feel human once again. I hope that if anyone has any advice, or questions that they'll free to let me know. Good luck to everyone else, and let's let the adventure begin. ~Nan~ 12/27/07 (self pay) Dr. Baird, Idaho Falls, ID
  2. Roberta: I hope you are doing well. I had mine the 27th of December and my weight was 290 (at the beginning of the 10 day pre-diet). We'll have to stay in touch and vent to each other as we go through the trials. I have my first Breakfast tomorrow at 8:00 am and I'm excited to see who all will be experiencing it with me. How has the last week been for you? I am a lot more sore that I was prepared for. I've had two C-sections and I'd compare this to them because of the similarity in the stomach area. I guess a lot of people heal quickly, but I didn't start feeling human until today. Let me know how you are.
