I have been allowed coffee/teas with caffeine since the 4th week.

Personally, I do not agree it stretches you stomach. But you will find lots who do. I do agree it is empty calories.

I can drink beer and would drink champaign. I have no problem. Good luck

I can seat in a booth at the restaurants!!!! Also do not get short of breath like before.

I eat lots of almonds 4 weeks out. Went fine for me.

You will be fine, I am sure of that. But you will need someone to drive you home after surgery.

I quit in 2013, very hard thing to do. But so glad I did. I also had to keep my hands busy, did a bunch of sewing and crafts. Good luck to everyone going through it currently.

Maybe count half of it, you never really know what came back out. Who knows.

If it is that bad, I agree go get checked out. I never had much pain to speak of. Yours sounds like a lot.

Since you had surgery recently, I would suspect it is the healing process. I have/had knots under my skin by some of my incisions.

Of course you will be intubated, otherwise you could not have general anesthesia. You will never know an thing about it. In and out while you are asleep. I did not have a drain after surgery. I have in the past and they are not a big deal. Good luck.

I love prufuse and its great, just mix with water. Kill two birds with one stone. Fluids and protein all at once.

I did 3 days post op, no problems.

You cannot take Ibuprofen? How far out are you? I would, and I am 2 months out. heating pad, hot Water bottle, Naproxen and good luck!

Profuse is fabulous!! Both flavors are great. You can drink in Water or as a power "shot". I purchase it through my doctor.

I drink beer without a problem.
