  1. I take 3 tablets of Benadryl every night. It's the only thing I've found that reliably works.
  2. This is funny! Last night I dreamed about eating Costco cake. It was so vivid...
  3. No not at all. The less people who know, the better IMHO.
  4. I'm surprised that you haven't tried a weight loss medication at this stage. Surgery shoul be reserved when there are no other options left.
  5. Wow, you're a strong cookie! Good luck on the surgery
  6. A simple Google search of "surgical staples" and "X-ray" shows several examples.I'm aware of that. I was simply pointing out that in looking at quite a few post-sleeve surgery x-rays, I didn't see staples in any of them, so it's not that unusual that she can't see any in hers. The original post simply asked if one could see staples on an X-ray post-operatively...and the answer remains YES.
  7. I'm not sure how to assuage your fears, but what's done is done. Just because your surgeon is in Mexico doesn't mean that they are incompetent. Perhaps you can follow up with your husband's provider in the future.
  8. A simple Google search of "surgical staples" and "X-ray" shows several examples.
  9. I typically don't participate in posts that are suspicious of trolling behavior, but I truly hope that you really mean you're done posting now. Thanks in advance.
  10. I've been experimenting with my carbohydrate intake since my procedure, March 30th of this year. I had a lower starting BMI than most but found that the weight comes off quicker if I keep my carb count under 20 grams.
  11. I buy Estée Lauder Advance Time Zone for my mother (it's pricey), but as someone who used to urge her to get a facelift, she has had some noticeable toning with this cream.
  12. @ Thank you for the information that has already been mentioned on the board. Your post is not contributory in any way regarding the OP's question...but you already knew that.
  13. @@meshelle920 It'll get better soon, just stick with it!
  14. That's great news...wishing you all the best!
  15. Eating a full meal three times a day is much different than eating a few bites six times a day, IMO.
  16. Are you having some sort of trouble with your sleeve? Why don't you trust your doctor?
  17. I don't know about everyone else but I'm proud to say how much weight I've lost.
  18. @@wannaBthinsoon I am also a big fan of P3 snacks! They are made by Oscar Meyer and consist of a small amount of meat, cheese, and nuts. I carry with me to work all of the time.
  19. Congratulations on the surgery and good luck with your recovery!
  20. I am taking Patch MD's Multivitamin Plus and Anti-Aging topical patches.
  21. I'm not sure if it's any consolation, but I see patients every day with some sort of vitamin or mineral deficiency (iron, b12, vitamin D) and not all of them have had weight loss surgery. Just food for thought.
  22. Sending positive thoughts and prayers from Kansas City!
  23. My significant other has to "strongly remind" me to eat sometimes. Other times I feel deathly hungry but can only eat small portions. Crazy sleeve
