I go for my 3 month check up tomorrow and review my blood work. I notice lately that I have been stressed to the max. Can your Bariatric doctor prescribe any muscle relaxer or nerve pill? Please dont judge , just simply figuring out if I should just go to regular physician or since I go tomorrow to just ask the Bariatric doctor. I'm embarrassed to even ask for some help but I need to. Thank you.
  2. Yes my biggest struggle is water as well! I have good days and bad. I gave a scale that measures you dehydration. I'm always short of expectation for female but as long as I keep focusing and loosing weight I guess I will b good! Thank you as well for support! ????

Wow! That would be rough! My migraine came back and I called my doctor. He said I can take it but not a daily thing just once in awhile won't hurt me so still trying to deal with not taking it and go to bed early tonight! Thank you all for responding!

I woke up with bad headache this morning. I figured it's because of either allergies or because of quick weather changes the pressure sometimes does it. I'm use to taking 3 Aleve at least to get headache to go away or dull the pain but that was before the sleeve surgery. I automatically took that this morning after wondering if I should change on how we take basic medicine with the change of our stomach? For the future when ever we are on medicine for any reason will that always be adjusted because of our smaller stomach or not? This was one area of subject I never really thought of before because I normally don't take anything but vitamins. Thank you!
  6. I lost maybe 30 pounds. I was very similar to you. I had nothing but issues with the band and never got my sweet spot. I was always either too restrictive or seemed to always throw stuff up. I hated food. Now I feel like for the most part I can eat what I want and it's in proportion. I try to always keep high protein foods around me at home and work. I watch calorie intake but mostly protein intake and exercise 4 days a week or average. They helps me look at how long it takes me to burn a certain amount of calories and helps me stay focused on making better food choices. I still allow myself to cheat but I try to eat healthy all week and when I do eat out I watch for healthy protein meals/calories and always ask for dressings to be on side. I do also cut my proportions when I get my food and put the rest on an extra plate until they get me to go box. I use the lose-it app and log my food and exercise! ????
  7. I had the lap and too and was sleeved this April. So far I am around the weight I had originally lost with lap and but I have heard that once you have had one procedure of weightloss that it is a slower longer time with loosing weight because your body has made adjustments already to first surgery. ????

    Exercise?!

Treadmill with some eliptical. I try to exercise 4 days a week but sometimes 5. Since I do that I realize more if the choices of what I eat because I think of how long it would take me to burn those calories. It has also helped with dealing with anger, stress, and sometimes depression when it comes to life and relationship with food! Good luck!

Day 4 post op, vitimin question

I found a liquid calcium citrate at Walmart that doesn't taste bad. Other then that taking something is better than nothing. I been taking easy to swallow prenatal vitamins but flint stones sounds much better! LOL! Good luck!
  10. Good for you! I am so happy for you! Keep up the hard work!

    Plateau

Thank you! I'm hoping with getting 60 at least protein and focusing on increasing my water to help. Plus making sure I exercise 5x a week. Hoping to change it up next week on what I do as far as exercising. Again thank you!

At what point did you feel like you got stuck at a weight that seemed like you were holding there for 2-3 weeks? What did you do to move the scale or what did it take? Most days I usually get 50-60 grams of protein but that is an average. I know I never get my full water in as well. I do exercise 4-5x week for an hour. Just feeling like I'm stuck and it's just been 1full month on the 21st?

    Drinks

I have too! Not that I didn't like fruit before but more now then ever I feel like I could all kinds of fruit. I know I had mentioned before watermelon but I think that's because of being thirsty but o did try red seedless grapes and I never cared for them before til now. I only had some since I was at a graduation and it was the best thing to try to nibble on. Glad I'm not the only one!

I have been drinking Syntex strawberry kiwi and it's good but didn't know they had lemonade. I do have some unflavored protein so maybe I can put they in some crystal light lemonade as well? Thank you all!
