Can any of you share what you were told to do for your 2 week pre-op liver shrinking diet? I would like to be able to compare. I have heard some people are on an all liquid diet and some others are different. Any feedback would be helpful. Thank you! Karl

Been a huge fan of my CPAP for the last 10-12 years. On my 3rd machine now. It will improve your life in many...many ways. @@Dub I'm on my 3rd machine too and I can't agree with you more about how it will change your life! I don't know what I did without my Bi-pap! Well for one I didn't get any rest lol

@TWEETYY_0319 Hi, did Aetna tell you why they will not cover the surgery? I also have Aetna and I am hoping I don't have the same issue

Can anyone share with me what type of coffee they drink in the mornings when on pre-op diet and also post-op? Also what type of creamers? Can you use fat free coffee creamer favorited?

Well, finally everything is done and I have met all requirements needed. All I do now is have my final meeting with him and paperwork goes off to Aetna for approval. I can't tell you how excited I am to be moving to the final step before surgery

@her1981 Hi, I was told by my NUT that after about 15 to 20 mins what you have not been able to eat you should forgot about it. She said don't wait just so you can fit a little more food in. Thats the rule I am going to stay by. Remember this as I am going to live by... We are now going to eat to live NOT live to eat I hope this helps you some

Hi again, Can anyone tell me if they have any good luck with just one Multivitamin that will give you everything we need. I guess I'm wondering if there is such a thing? And also looking for chewable. Does anyone get their stuff at any places like GNC or Vitamin shops? Thanks... Karl ????

@Frankin Texas I'm 50 years old now and I told myself this was going to be a gift to myself and I'm finally getting it done before my 50 year old mark is over and I move on the the nasty 51 LOL.

Hi gang, I hope everyone is doing well out there, I wanted to ask this: How will they know if the liver has gotten small enough to go ahead with surgery after the 3 week pre op diet they are putting me on? I mean do they do blood work ups and all before surgery to tell this? I'm just curious I guess. Tomorrow morning I go for my last test which my pulmnary doctor ordered. They call it a breathing test of some kind that you have to blow into a tube or something and they can see a lot by how much your able to do? Has anyone else exp this as well? Thanks... Karl
