    Perhaps there are online trainers that you could google, or google that search in your local area. If you're going to any support groups, it might be a good question to pose to the members. I have no idea where you are located, but there do not appear to be any who specialize in my area. Good luck to you!

    For my quick fix on pizza, I dipped a cheese stick in pizza sauce and a couple slices of turkey pepperoni. And for the Pasta part made turkey meatballs and added whatever sauce I was craving at the time, red, alfrado, or pesto. I didn't even miss the noodles because the taste was so flavorful. Hope that helps!

    I know it can be discouraging when you are following the rules but the scale isn't rewarding you as much as you thought it should. My body actually "stalls" for about two weeks then I'll lose really well for two weeks. We are all different and our bodies lose the way they want to. As long as you are doing what you're supposed to be doing like reaching Protein and Water goals then the scale will catch up. I also notice sometimes I lose inches before a loss shows up on the scale. Make sure you are measuring yourself too. The scale isn't the only indicator of success. :-)

    Don't be depressed I too am a slow looser and I have done everything I thought I was supposed to do ! I know how you feel I had my sugery in January and Have not lost that much but I have lost inches Just hang in there they say It will come off in time !! I hope Some of are just slow losers I guess !!!

    Pinterest and The a World According to a Eggface have great recipes...I actually made cauliflower crust pizza and liked it ( I hate cauliflower too). I have also seen the vegetable spiralizer which makes spaghetti like noodles out of zucchini which yiu then hop with your favorite sauces or cheeses

    6 weeks at 6 months out. This is probably your first (The Dreaded Three Week Stall that most get) and it won't be your last. Just keep getting your protien, fluids, stay low carb and move a little and it will pass.
    Stalls still suck, though

    2 1/2 weeks post op I make 3 weeks on Thursday.. I attended the mandatory support group session yesterday .. And since the surgeons office is right next door, I got there early to stop by to get weighed. The nurses are always kind and took me back to weighin.. I'm still not able to weigh at home since my scale does not go to the 400's ..(I bought the wrong one and I refuse to take it back since I don't plan on being in the 400's for very long) anyway I was not really anticipating a big loss since my 1lb weigh in and too my surprise I lost 10lbs ????????I was so overjoyed. It was exactly the pick me up that I needed to go into this meeting. The meeting was great and I plan to go back next month. I was scolded a bit evidently I need to introduce more variety and less liquid. I have been having a hard time with dairy and have been sticking with the one thing that my pouch likes chicken breast Protein Shakes and Water ..

    @@Brigiter, I was encouraged to use spices etc, just to make sure they're blended truly smooth during my phase 1. I'll absolutely be posting you some phase 1 food soon.
    As a quick starter - the pho broth is excellent, good for pouches, and high in Protein. I also mixed powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury unflavored Protein into homemade Jello (we use Gelatin with pretty good results).

    Am almost two weeks post op, lost 10lbs during my pre op diet. But only 12 lbs within the past 12 days! So over liquids! Looking forward to chewing Food!! Am a foodie! And going to be super hard!

    Am on the same boat. Today am 1week post op. I just can't do the same foods over and over; had to do a 2week liquid diet to start and am really just over it, ready for soft or purée foods!!
