  1. How do you put it in Jello? I was considering this but I can't boil it.Oh I see you said powder. I want to make jello with my liquid isopure.
  2. My dr said she didn't want me to get one today because if it caused fever my surgery would be cancelled.
  3. Started liquid today! I'm doing people tomorrow! We have the same date!
  4. Are you ready? Are you doing liquid diet too? I started today!
  5. Thanks for the laugh! You're always in great spirits. Wish you the best w a great recovery!
  6. My surgeon gives her pager number upon discharge. Nurses are available free for life. I've utilized them and look forward to this benefit in the future.
  7. I bought a Ninja early on and started trying to puree things. I was making meats in the crock pot and saving the broth for veggie purees. I got a case of Apple Melon Isopure. That is the only one I really liked. I also have unjury chicken Soup, GNC Lean 25 Vanilla and banana. I just went to pick up UNJURY Vanilla for this week during liquid diet. It has less calories and I am mixing it in Silk light soy milk. So, I needed to reduce the calories. Certain flavors don't taste that great to me with just Water. So, I tried the soy milk. Did your clinic give you a book? I have an entire list that includes both types of foods and meal ideas per meal. Hope this all comes together for ya soon!
  8. Awesome! We will be the same week! Just entered liquid diet today.
  9. It's part of my program to do all the vitamins pre-op to get used to taking them all. I did have D and Iron deficiencies. I was already on B12. But Idk if other programs do the same thing either way. I think it's been good for me to get used to what my life will really be like with the vitamins.
  10. I was just about to post asking if anyone had tried these. And saw this post. Thought I'd peak in. I tasted these the orange one at the clinic one day. Then I tasted all the others at the Pharmacy today. I am switching!
  11. This reminds me of the movie from childhood, "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." Sad but true story of how obesity can control ones life. I really hope this man can get some help for himself.
  12. I would love to do this? But is there a waitlist? My surgery is coming up pretty fast.
  13. I was required to lose 10%. I was told the more you lose, the safer the surgery will be on your body and the easier recovery is. I also think this is a way of seeing if you will stick to the plan they give you.
  14. I am considering switching to these supplements. My clinic gives samples. I've only tried the orange. They sell them in the pharmacy as well as Unjury. I got 2 tubs of Chicken soup as I had bought the single use packets early on and loved that one. I wasn't too happy with unflavored but from what I've read it's something I'll be thankful for later. So, I'll hold on to it. Good luck on your journey! I still have a few small items to purchase before hand too! You sound so ready to go!
  15. If you do have it, most surgeons would require you to have it for so many weeks before your surgery date. I have had one for about a week now. I don't have to set the pressure as it is an auto-CPAP. I hope that you will find the answers you are seeking and move forward in your journey. Best of luck to you!
  16. Amazing! Keep up the good work!
  17. I also like the Rubbermaid ones. I am still pre-surgery but bought everything I was told to get used to it beforehand per my plan. I have a 20 oz one for measuring Water for the day and smaller ones for shakes. I prefer the plastic shaker balls though. Also, I like the JAXX from GNC. The shorter ones.
  18. I just laughed so hard! At least you know that you have good tastes lol
  19. Congrats! My approval took 3 days.
  20. Did you check to see how long you had to be off the meds prior to surgery? My surgeon said one month. You certainly don't want to be sent away for something that simple either. There were several reasons why they said that. So, be sure and check. You worked too hard to get to this point to be sent away!
  21. We have almost the same starting point. I started at 343. I'm also 5' 7". Keep moving forward! You are almost there! The process is certainly a test of patience.
  22. My goal is to rollerblade again. Also to get to Hershey Park and ride all the rides.
  23. My insurance covers $20 of my $30 membership when I go 12 times per month. It's an incentive to get in there! I'm going faithfully now.
