Did anyone get Fmla for pre-op? My clinic said I needed to talk to HR about it. I really don feel comfortable as it is so personal. I know for the surgery healing days I can do it. How did it work for you?- Unjury
I have not tried it just yet. I figured that one would be for mixing in foods/broth which has a bland taste. I would guess having the unflavored stocked in higher quantities will be best if my stomach tolerates it. Of course they have several other flavors but I'd be nervous to try with all my allergies. Hope you like it!- Pre-Req Vitamin Deficiencies
I met with the surgeon yesterday. She let me know that because I am already on a B12 supplement and and Iron, that she would need a letter from my Neurologist. I am grateful that she explained fully to me her thoughts on this. Some doctors miss things that are very important for making major life decisions. Has anyone else had these issues prior to? How did you do after the sleeve? I know everyone is very different. But I am curious to know.- Unjury
I got my UNJURY on Thursday. I have yet to mix it and try it. I have yogurt and fruit. This is where I will start. I got 10 unflavored and 4 chicken Soup to start. Surgeon said to just try them out and see what my stomach will tolerate prior to actually needing to do liquid diet. I know they promote Advantage? They have a discount code. And seemed the Vitamins on there looked doable with the flavor options and chewable.- Psych Eval Question- Getting worried
I don't meet with the surgeon until Friday. But speaking with the Intake Coordinator yesterday, it is my understanding that they only have certain psychs that are approved for my clinic. They complete an MMPR2 or something like that. It seems to be only my state. But I too wonder what it is that they are seeking. It's a little worrisome to be told you have to wait 2 weeks to get the results.- Pre-op diet and phentermine
That sounds horrible! I did have to have an echo since I was on it. But I haven't had any side affects that I know of. And I was on it a few years ago.- Pre-op diet and phentermine
I asked the dr at the info session today and she said that it'd have to be a month prior to surgery because it raises your blood pressure.- Unjury
Thank you! I will order it. I was nervous. I plan to get the single serve packets to start with to make things a little easier. Would that be too much for one serving? I saw they have some different recipes on their site. Have you tried any of those?- Unjury
I am just starting my journey. So, I am learning. Just figuring out where to start. I have my consult next Friday.- Unjury
I was thinking chicken broth and Unflavored. I am allergic to strawberries and chocolate.- Unjury
Have you tried this? Is it the unflavored really as great as I've read other places online? I have a milk allergy. I was told not to be concerned with this one? Should I just wait til my consult? I am trying to make smoothies for breakfast. I already have all the fruit, yogurt, and small bags. Where to start?- I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)
Is this a private FB group? All the others are not. I would like to join one that doesn't show everyone that I'm a part of it.- Pre-op diet and phentermine
I don't have my consult until next Friday, May 8th. But I will post. I know all drs are different though. I just got back on it. And I have a ways to go before I'd be approved. I have the info session on Sat. Once you find out please share what your doctor said!- Pre-op diet and phentermine
That is on my list of questions for my dr. I would imagine that it would make it easier to do! - FMLA
