    Weight gain while in process

@@khaled I took it to mean your first weigh in that started you on your journey should be your highest weight. You shouldn't surpass that any time.
  6. Carrie, it's not stuck. If it was like they said above you'd be sliming all over and the food would just be sitting there in your chest. The consistency is probably the problem. Are u chewing 20 times? Sometimes you can't tolerate things like you used to, like chicken breast- too dry.

Would you have WLS again? What kind?

@ladyvs After the last ordeal with trying to get a fill I just gave up on it and never tried again. I probably have had only about 3 fills with little bits at a time, I can't remember how many ccs. It just put me off. But now that I'm back at my highest weight I started to look into the revision. So I'm basically disregarding the band and looking to have it removed and the rny done at the same time.

Would you have WLS again? What kind?

Having wls I episode definitely do it again but I'd have the bypass instead of the band. I've been banded since 2010 and I lost about 40lbs but after an injury gained it all back and then some. Haven't had a fill since 2011 due to too much scar tissue around my port my nurse who gives the fill can't get in :-\

"Life hacks" to manage loose skin?

    Great to read...
  18. They need to see you're committed and can follow a diet @maraki. First time i did it i only had to show proof of previous diet attempts. This time with same insurance 8 need the 6 month consecutive dieting.
  19. @@Bndtoslv This is exactly the reason my surgeon suggested the rny not the sleeve. She basically explained the sleeve is the same kind of process as the band while rny is malabsorption. I need to do something different. I need success this time. Though rny sounds more "drastic" that's what i need to get this weight off on this final go round.
  20. Maraki, I have to do it. This Tuesday is my month 5 appt with the nutritionist. Sigh. .

2 Days Post Open Severe Nausea

Wow @@ssourgirl I'm so sorry your daughter is having sick a rough go of it. Hopefully tomorrow she will still be improving.
  25. Well said. I'm a bandit trying to have a revision to sleeve. That problem, the one with too much scar tissue built up around the band, is my issue. I've never felt restriction due to this issue. I would be stuck 7, 8, 9 times and the needle would come out bent as a "L" smh. Im so glad you were successful though.
