Is this the pre-op diet? If so, I wasn't allowed soup. I was allowed 3-4 protein shakes per day and one green salad with calorie-free dressing. I was also allowed unlimited sugar-free popsicles and jello, though I honestly didn't eat them, because I found they made me hungrier.

Jamie makes a good point. I forgot I was allowed a small green salad too.

I was allowed unlimited broth. I got some of the different flavored ones like Tuscan Italian etc. did small amounts in a mug and sipped on them.
