Foods for camping in cold weather?
Post surgery I camped out on 2 nights that were just below freezing, not what you did, and I definitely needed an additional layer of clothing. Maybe you can bring Protein rich Snacks with you for the extra energy when you are on the trail, such as nuts and Jerky, since you can't eat as much at a meal?

Anyone else have a broken mirror?
Yes, beore the surgery, we seem to look in those fun house mirrors that make us look a lot wider. Congratulations.

Lets talk sausage....
I typed "Explore Asian" in my internet browser and in many of those websites those women were doing a lot of things with sausages, not pasta; I guess I need to change the search engine filter from off to medium.

Anyone have bad leg cramps?
Keep yourself properly hydrated and active (walking, treadmill, etc.). If it continues, some people take magnesium or potassium supplements for leg cramps, but I would ask your surgeon or PCP first.

Trying not to be angry
Play it safe and hand her a butter knife instead.

Discrimination Against People Who Had WLS
Did you wish her good luck with her surgical procedure to remove her cranium from her rectum?

Lets talk sausage....
I need a cigarette after reading that and I don't even smoke. After reading this I am suddenly in the mood for a "fish taco".

RANT about perspective of coworkers
If they give an unsupportive remark such as "why don't you do it the natural way", tell them in a mild tone "I never thought of that. Thank you, I will take that into consideration." Then walk immediately away. It will probably only take them 2 or 3 seconds to realize you told them to go (bleep) themselves.

Anesthesia
Anesthesiologist: (while starting to apply the anesthesia) "Count back from 100 to 0" Me: "100, 99, 98, 97, 96, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" The next thing I know, I am in the recovery room. I didn't have any issues with it.

Keep sipping throughout the day. Keep a Water bottle with you as much as possible to make it easier. You are only a couple of days out, it will get easier. Congratulations.

Funny biz travel moment
The worst pizza I ever had was in a place that had a giant rat that was walking around - unfortunately it was not Chuck E. Cheese's.

Awkward Lunch Hours
Maybe they don't want to tempt you because of all the hard work you are putting in and feel funny eating those fattening foods in front of you. Sit down with them and eat your lunch. Maybe go out with them once in a while and order a side salad, a burger wrapped in lettuce (instead of a bun) or a healthy choice. If it is fast food, go with them for the ride and bring your own lunch if there are no choices that you feel are appropriate. Another possibility is they may also feel guilty about eating those foods too since your healthy eating is a reminder of how they should eat most of the time.

BMI and other peoples opinions
Congratulations on your successful weight loss. You need to select a weight that you can reasonably maintain and are comfortable with. As far as "the fat girl in the mirror", that image will go away as you gain even more self confidence. I still feel a little self conscious looking at myself in a mirror or wanting to be photographed after all of those years of trying to avoid them.

Vitamin Help Please :)
"Vomit and Sauerkraut"? That doesn't sound like a very good flavor choice. Maybe you should have tried their "mixed berries" flavor instead.

The plus side of growing a beard.
Joan Rivers (RIP) had so many face lifts, that she had a beard too before she died.

How to help my daughter
You could have a heart to heart talk to her. Be supportive of all her accomplishments but let her know that she may be at a pre-disposition to being overweight or obese thanks to genetics. I tell my children to learn from my experience and not to overeat (also to eat healthy most of the time and eat a balanced diet) so they do not develop a weight issue when they are older the way I did. I explain the health aspects, mental and physical issues I endure(d) due to obesity so they don't (hopefully) repeat them. I don't want to scare them or have them worry, but their "Fatty", I mean "Daddy" is only saying this out of love so they don't repeat what I did. As already mentioned, lead by example. Keep up the great work. PS, you list your location as "STATE OF CONFUSION". Does that mean you live in California?

Thank you. I am Bernie Sanders' brother, Luigi. My platform is to give free pizza to every American. I will tax Wall Street to cover the cost of this program.

What Y'all Think- II
There is a Native American saying on judging another person that goes something like this: “Before you judge someone, you should walk a mile in their moccasins. That way when you judge them, you are a mile away from them and you have their moccasins.” I may have gotten some of it wrong in the translation.
