    Size Versus Weight

The vanity sizing thing is interesting. I wear a variety of sizes based on the brand anyway. But what I meant was, I still have clothes from when I was last this weight, and they are too BIG this time, the exact same outfits. Not that I am complaining, it just seems odd to me.
  2. I had my RNY on Aug 26, 2015 and I have lost a total of 124 pounds thus far. I still have about 45 pounds or so to lose. I have experienced something I find a little odd and was wondering if anyone else had noticed it as well. The last time I was this weight I was two whole sizes bigger than I am now. I am actually smaller than my weight would indicate. I hate to admit it, but I rarely work out, just mainly walk a lot, so I can't really say it is muscle versus fat, since I am much older and whatnot. Does anyone have any insight into this? Don't get me wrong... I am loving it, just a little confused.
  3. I am actually struggling to get all my protein in. I get my fluids though.
  4. I had United Healthcare through Tricare West and it took my approval about 3 days for RNY. I did have to follow up with the scheduler through the hospital though..they said it was not approved yet and I had to hand carry a copy of the approval to them in order to get on the surgery schedule.
  5. Thank you all so much. My stall may be breaking as I am down a pound finally! Yay!
  6. Thank you for the ideas. I will give up the peanut butter. It is funny, because my NUT told me to have it with apples as a snack and I could have it every day. Now that I think about it, I pretty much stalled about a week after I started that.
  7. Thank you. I Guess I need to just keep at it and really count my calories a bit more.
  8. Hello. I had by RNY on Aug 26, 2015, and I weighed 31 preop. I currently weigh between 195 and 198 and have been stuck here for about 6 weeks. I lost fairly slowly, but now I am scared that it is over. I never really had a plateau until now. I eat mainly low carb and high Protein. Lately I have been eating Peanut Butter, which may be my problem. I have also just started walking on a treadmill daily, I did not really exercise much before. Will I continue to lose for a couple more months, or is this kind of it for me/ Thank you so much!
