How long was your hospital stay?

I was sleeved around 2pm on the 13th. I was home by 11am on the 15th. They usually keep people 1 night, but since my surgery got delayed a few hours because the surgeon was running behind, I stayed another night.

    Nausea 2 months out

I was sleeved on 1/13 - and about a month later I was nauseous all the time. Turns out I had a Vitamin deficiency of B1. Once my surgeon figured that out, and I started taking a supplement, the nausea went away completely.

    Day 1....

Day 3 was when it got easier for me too. Luckily I only had a 5-day pre-op diet. The day of surgery was the worst for me, since I couldn't eat or drink anything, and my surgery got delayed a few hours, so I spent a lot of time sitting around waiting.

Time it takes for Approval for surgery?

I had my initial consult with the surgeon on 10/7/14, everything was submitted to my insurance on Friday 12/12/14, and I was approved on Tuesday 12/16. I had my surgery on 1/13/15. I had very few requirements. I had to do 2 months of nutrition visits, and it also took me a long time to get my psych eval scheduled.
