  1. You can in your checked luggage but not on your carry on.
  2. Just curious, did you actually look at your benefit plan before going through all that? I knew my insurance coverage before I even started.
  3. I am also a RN and work in the ER. I took ten days off. The only thing is having a lift restrictions so any patient lifting I have other staff members do it for me. I have had tons of energy and probably would be bored staying home 6 weeks.
  4. I plan on selling my clothes on buy sale trade sites on facebook, and plan in picking up new clothes that way.
  5. I have my pre op with my doctor on 4/23 and my surgery was schedule as soon as we had approvals from insurance.
  6. Depends on your insurance, some take the BMI at your first appt when you start. And losing weight in the time while waiting for surgery looks good for insurance. I would call your insurance and ask what their requirement is
  7. I would not wear make up and they made have you remove it before surgery. Trust me the OR staff is not worried about how your face looks and honestly the least of your problems.
  8. Not too long I started in January. So I had three months medical supervision, just finish last month and got approvals two days ago.
  9. Yeah you are probably not going to get that until after all the charges are done. Then you will pay 15% of what the plan allows then to charge.
  10. I have basic and it is a lot cheaper for the surgery part. You can look on the website and it will tell you in the benefits what standard have to pay.
  11. I am hoping for a May surgery date. Waiting on insurance approvals right now.
