I am in uk and had surgery on Friday 27th March. I completed the pre op two week diet of slim fast shakes, so far the worst bit and now on liquid diet. Sent home after two days and only had to take pain killers a few times. To be honest enjoying soups with different flavours, not really a sweet tooth. Doing this mainly to get rid of diabetes and so far so good not taken one drug associated and levels all below 6! No major food pangs as I just remind myself of the goal not to go back onto injecting insulin or victoza and if possible to stay of the metformin.
Looking for any advice and a place to chat about any issues.
