  8. At first I was planning on keeping my surgery a secret but then one night, I decided that I wanted the world to know that I was taking my life back. I was completely overwhelmed by all of the love and support that I was given by everyone. I did not have one negative comment. In fact, many had questions and were very curious about the process. I am tired of feeling ashamed. I am proud of my decision and I am proud of the 70 pounds I have lost over the 4 months since my surgery.

  11. I had that pain for 5 days. I walked a lot. The thing that helped me most was taking a Tums. Just chew it up really well. The Gas X strips didn't work for me.
  12. You find the cheek bones that you forgot you had.

  14. Sleeved on March 24th. Doing well but I too am getting tired of sweet shakes and soup.
  15. Michigan gal here. Was just sleeved on 3/24. Doing great!????
  16. I am 7 days post op and I can honestly say that the thing I want most is a scrambled egg. I think it is funny how it seems like a lot of sleevers want eggs. Must be a protein thing. Unfortunately, I cannot have eggs until week 5. Lord, give me strength!
  17. I am 6 days post op today. I am feeling great and I even walked over a mile today. Be sure to walk as much as you can to help with the gas pain. I was having pressure between my breasts, especially when drinking. Taking a tums really helped with that. Good luck! You'll do great!☺
