    I had the surgeon's office call them and UHC said it was excluded. I would imagine it's got to do with the coverage selected by the employer.

    I have UHC Choice Plus through my husband's work and I just found out about 3 minutes ago that they will not cover the procedure. I have a BMI of 45. My guess is that bariatric coverage is specifically excluded. Such is life, I suppose. On to the old fashioned way again...
