    Forever!~

I haven't blogged about my weight loss forever nor have I read posts. I am going in for my 3rd fill 2 years later and and excited! I was dragging feet for the first 10 months of surgery and then my husband and I split the sheets and my weight loss rocketed! I got rid of someone that made me very unhappy and made me happy.... amazing what that can do! So this past year I have lost over 100 lbs and am starting to slow. I am on the downhill slope of things but I have worked so hard. I have gained about 20 lbs., not from over eating its from undereating and getting carried away thinking that I can just go back to not eating but once a day.... The scale reality checked me the other day and I became panicked!!!! I am very aware of my weight and when I start gaining I feel awful, bloated, and think to myself that I can't gain any weight because.... I have gotten rid of the larger wardrobe and refuse to go buy bigger! Anyways... my little rant... Hope everyone is doing well and having great success! :cursing:

  5. About 2 weeks after I was banded I started feeling really hungry. My dr. told me it was cause the band is lose due to me losing weight the fat around the stomach is going away. So.. I started my soft foods and mushies earlier than I should have. I continued to be hungry... However after my first fill.,.... hunger was not an issue!
  6. So I have a question. I was banded on 12/17/07. I have lost a sufficient amount of weight I feel since this time. However my port was put to the right side of my belly button. Certain things I do... makes it feel like its pulling. Or the area that the port is in starts burning. Is this just the healing process? I can feel it if I bend down or squat on my knees. I don't understand. It's really uncomfortable that I feel it! Do any of you or have any of you had this? How long will it last? It is not enough to go back to the dr but I wonder what the deal is?:frown:

  10. Hahahahah wow someone that thinks like me AMEN! i am thinking the rny would have been the best way to... and for the love of god i was just banded! I get excited but i want the dramatic changes like they have. They don't have to worry about a band slipping or being stuck to fill a band so on and so forth. I totally agree with you and i have thought to myself this past month... i did this surgery because it was least invasive... but im wondering to myself is it less effective? I had my first fill today and at that point when he had me drink water he said he wanted it to feel like it was sticking while it was going down.. well it did a lil bit.. and now... it doesnt feel like that GAH!!!!!!!!!! sucks...

    YAYYYY!

So I went to my 6 week post op check up today even though its been almost 5 and the dr was sooooooooooo proud of me, I have lost the most out of the 3 people he did that day! I was pumped. I also convinced him to go ahead and do my fill. I was scared to death after reading about fills on the forums on this website . It was CAKE he had to stick me 4 times but he said the more i lose the easier it gets! It didn't hurt the needle stick that is! It hurts worse to have a shot of heparin in your stomach. :huh2: He filled me to .04 and said that was a pretty vigorous amount for just being banded... so he said if im not getting enough restriction then come back next week! I am in the green zone and feel ok. So liquids for two days and we will see what the weekend brings! :tt1::redface:
