Unknown Nausea and Dry Heaving - HELP!

****UPDATE**** After an Endoscopy, my doctor noted that after 9 weeks post op, there were still at least 3 sutures visible INSIDE my stomach. After consulting a bariatric surgeon he was told that those should definitely not be there. So I go to see that surgeon tomorrow to follow up with him and hopefully he will have some answers. If I'm lucky, removing the sutures could solve the issue of dry heaving and nausea. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
  2. I am about 8 weeks post of from VSG, and within the last 3 weeks have developed this gnawing pain, which brings about unbearable nausea and gagging, with the occasional dry heaving. When I do dry heave, I only bring up saliva, and small amounts of bright red blood. My GE doctor seems stumped, as he's not an expert in any sense with VSG surgeries. Has anyone else experienced this? I can't live like this. I go for an endoscopy tomorrow, and have already completed an Upper GI with no visible issues.

    Increased heart rate?

I'm blending the bariatric fusion powder with water, banana and PB2 powdered peanut butter.

    Increased heart rate?

I am 3 weeks post op and have noticed that my heart rate increases sharply when I drink my protein shakes. Has anyone experienced this phenomenon? If so have they spoken to their doctor about it? Thanks!

    1 week post-op issues

Great advice everyone. I'll head to the store tomorrow and try some propel and get some crystal light drops as well. My body seems to be unhappy with the plain water the way some of yours are.

@@Elode I also find water more difficult to drink than say, G2 Gatorade, or flat ginger ale.

I'm taking 3 bariatric fusion meal replacement shakes a day, plus 2 BF multivitamins. In trying to drink 8 oz of water every 1-2 hours, but I know I'm falling short.
  8. Hey everyone! My name is Tim, I'm 31 years old. I am 1 week post op from my sleeve, and I had it done in Mexico. A scary proposition, but there were 3 other guys from my work who had used the same doctor successfully. I weighed in at 265 pounds, which I know feels like the smaller side for a sleeve, but with a previous back surgery and very bad genetics, I was already noticing serious problems. I have lost 12 pounds, but have been pretty stressed out with the abdominal gas and still feeing the addiction to pizza and fast food. But I am pushing forward. My biggest issue right now is the fatigue and muscle aches I get when I wake up and before bed. I hope this is normal. Anyways, thanks for listening.

    1 week post-op issues

Hey everyone, I'm M/31, and I am 1 week post op today. I am experiencing a lot of fatigue, and severe muscle aches early morning and late evening. The fatigue I assumed was normal, but I'm concerned about the muscle pain. It feels like the body aches from a flu. Anyone experience this?
