Increased heart rate?

I am 3 weeks post op and have noticed that my heart rate increases sharply when I drink my protein shakes. Has anyone experienced this phenomenon? If so have they spoken to their doctor about it? Thanks!

My husband drank an Isopure Grape the other day for the first time and told me his heart rate went up. He has not had surgery, nor does he have any weight issues. He just wanted to try one since he bought them for me and I am not drinking them anymore.

What kind of Protein Drink did you drink? I have not noticed this phenomenon.

I'm blending the bariatric fusion powder with water, banana and PB2 powdered peanut butter.

Regardless, you should call your doctor.
